Monica's POV
"Kyla we're going to be late for the mall hurry your ass up."
"I'm coming chill the fuck out, holy shit you're so pissy are you on your period?"
"No that was last week asshole and you know it."
"Just grab your keys and let's go."
"Finally."
-20 minute drive to the mall while listening to Justin Bieber's new album
Monica- "I'm calling Gabe to see if he's here yet."
Monica calls Gabe
M- "Hey are you at the mall yet?"
G- "Yeah, we're in the food court."
M- "Okay we're on our way in. Bye."
*hangs up phone*
Gabe's POV
"Hey Triston the girls are on their way in. Did you order something for them?"
"Yeah I ordered Kyla Taco Bell and Monica a slice of pizza."
" Okay sweet here they come."
Monica & Kyla at the same time " Hey guys."
G "Hey Monica. You look gorgeous like always."
"Stop it you're to nice."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"Not at all. Hey Kyla, Gabe and I are going to get some stuff. Let's meet here in two hours."
"Ok. Come on Triston."
The couples split their ways and head to different places.
Kyla's POV
" So I want to get Monica something for our 3 year friend anniversary."
"Wow you've known each other that long?"
"Yeah, remember I told you we meet because of you and Gabe."
"Oh yeah that's right. So, what do you want to get her?"
"I really want to get her this really cute friendship necklace. It's a heart that one piece is green and says you're the PB and the other side is pink and says to my jelly."
"That's cute she's going to love it."
Monica's POV
"Gabe hey you.'
"Yes?" said with a mouth full of food.
"Grab your pizza and let's go. I want to get Kyla something for our 3 year friend anniversary."
"What are you going to get her?"
"I'm not 100% sure but, I did see these sweatshirts that said she's my best friend and I'm her best friend on them."
"Yeah you should get her that I bet she would love it."
"I know she would."
"You know you're the most beautiful girl in the world."
"Haha you're funny."
"I was being for real. So this question has been bothering me for the last couple days."
"What is it?"
"Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"
"Of course." We kiss and hug for a good 2 minutes.
Oh my god I can't believe my dream finally came true I'm dating Gabe. The best day of my life is finally happening, actually the best day of my life was probably meeting Kyla.
Gabe-"So that you're my girlfriend will you expect that you're the most gorgeous girl in the girl?"
M-"Nope no matter what I'll never expect it sorry babe."
"Fine be that way."
He turns around and pouts.
"Mr.Laceup I have something for you."
I reach up on my tippy toes since I'm only 5'2 and he's 5'11(I think he is IRL) and kiss him straight on the mouth. That turned his frown upside down.
G-"God damn you and your adorableness."
"Come on let's to Hot Topic that's where the sweatshirts are."
Kyla's POV
"Triston stop being a pain in the ass I have to go into Hot Topic you can stay out here if you want but please come in with me."
"Fine, only for you."
We walk into Hot Topic. It's Monica's favorite store and it's one of mine favorite too. There's always so much fun stuff to get and look at. I head straight to the jewelry. I find the necklaces but I don't think I want to get them anymore.
K-"Triston I don't really want to get these anymore."
"How come?"
"It just doesn't scream Monica you know?"
"Not really but okay they've got some sweatshirts over there why not like at those?"
I pick up a green sweatshirt that say "That's my best friend" with an arrow on it. It's got a matching pink one that says "I'm her best friend" on it with an arrow pointing the opposite way as the green one.
"This is perfect I'm totally getting this. Come on let's check out than go to bath and body works."
Monica's POV
As we were walking to Hot Topic which is my favorite store(IRL) we stopped to grab a slushie because Gabe was begging for one and I was thirsty.
M-"Two large blue raspberry slushies please."
Cashier lady"That'll be $5.27."
I try to hand the lady six dollars but Gabe grabs my hand and pays for them instead.
M-"Gabriel Mathis you didn't have to do that you bought me lunch it was my treat."
G-"I did buy lunch but we're on a date so I'm paying for it plus you need to save your money for Kyla's present."
"Fine but I pay for the next food/drink item, deal?"
"Deal."
We walk into Hot Topic and of course I head straight to the sweatshirts. But as I was looking at them I didn't really like them as much as before. It's something I would wear but it doesn't scream Kyla.
"Gabe I'm not getting the sweatshirts they don't scream Kyla it's more somethings I would wear."
"Okay do you want to look at the jewelry?"
"Yeah. I like this necklace."
It's two necklaces actually. One that says "you're the PB" and the other says "to my jelly".
"These are perfect for her."
We head to the cashier and buy the necklaces.
Cashier-"Funny some girl came in here earlier looking at these same necklaces."
M-"Ha that's ironic."
Gabe and I leave the store and head back to the food court.
"I'm going to call Kyla and see if they're done shopping. I'm not feeling so well."
"Okay do you want me to come with you to your house I can take care of you."
"Aw you don't have to do that but if you would like to you can."
K-"Hey what's up."
M-"Dude I'm not feeling so well are you ready to go?"
K-"Yeah we'll head to the good court."
M-"Okay see you in a few. Bye."
Readers POV
Kyla, Monica and Gabe head back to the house. Triston drives Gabe there. They get to Monica and Kyla's house, Gabe and Monica go to her room and Triston and Kyla head to the living room.
