After laser tag Lexie drove us to the store so we could buy some food. We always get chocolate, Cheetos, and some type of chip. When we hang out we don't do anything besides sit around and eat food. Her mom always comes home and yells,
" What are you two couch potatoes doing?" And we always answer,
"Nothing. Nothing at all!" And that's what we do for almost 24 hours. Tonight I just want to get my mind off of everything. Tomorrow I will go home and sit around some more, just alone. And then I will figure out what I'm going to do about my problem. But I told myself I was leaving at home so I'm not going to worry about it till tomorrow.
We were watching television when Lexie looked over and asked,
"How long?"
"I don't know Lexie, I don't know." I said in a confused and depressed way. She knew what I was thinking and what my future holds. She know I like Jack.. A lot, I like him a lot and I hate not being able to talk to him. I hate how everything is awkward between us and we can't even look each other in the eye. I started thinking about life without me again, dosing off in to sleep.
I woke up to Lexie's mom singing in the kitchen while cooking dinner.
"Ooohhhhhhh laa daa laa Yass! Dang it stupid egg shell." She yelled after getting egg shell in the mix of something. "Uh, someone might get eggshell in their dinner!" She yelled so loud the neighbors could here her. The cops come and warn her about noise complaints every now and then from the neighbors and she says "It's my son Dave, he's in a band." Dave he is 22 living with his parents and in a band called "preterds" they are gross and their music makes you want to hurl all of your shoes. They do different genres of music but it's never loud.
It was almost seven and I was starving. After we ate dinner that was, edible Lexie and I went up to her room, change into some rags, and jumped in bed to watch more television. I fell asleep again half way through one of are shows thinking about what a future with Jack would look like.
I woke up to Lexie jumping on the bed yelling excitingly,
"Get up I want coffee and some pancakes!"
She is a very happy morning person, I'm the opposite I hate mornings. She pulled me out of bed and dragged me to the end of the stairs and asked, "Do you want me to drag you down the stairs too?" I stood up quickly knowing she would and I would be tattooed with bruises. After I drank my coffee I was awake and no longer acting like a monkey out for blood. I stood up grabbed a bowl, Bisquick, milk, and two eggs. I started mixing when Lexie said, "I don't want pancakes. "
" Well I do so that sucks for you!" I said in a fun stupid way. After pancakes we watched a couple more hours of television then she drove me home.
