Mitch's POV
PIPPPPPPPPP!!! Crash. Bang.
"Scott!" I woke up.
"Oh Mitch, you're awake." Kevin said.
"Where am I?! Where's Scott?!" I shouted.
"Shhh... You're in the hospital, Mitch. You fainted. Don't you remember?" Kirstie asked.
"Where's Scott then? I need to see him!" I said being quite rude.
"He's... He's in the next door" Avi answered.
I stood up quickly and went to the next door.
There, I saw Scott lying on the bed with his eyes shut. He didn't move.
"Scott!" I walked weakly towards him.
"Don't worry Mitch, everything's gonna be alright." Kirstie said while tapping my back.
Everything's not alright! Scott's not awake! Can't they see it?!
But I just nodded, trying not to make it a fight.
The door from the room opened and a doctor with his nurse came in.
I stood up and started talking.
"So how's Scott? When is he gonna be awake?" I asked worriedly.
The doctor lowered his head and kept quiet.
No! This can't be happening! This is a bad sign!
"Mr Hoying will be awake in a few days, but he will have memory loss." the doctor replied.
"Scott..." I said softly as I looked at him. Tears started dripping from my watery eyes and I cried even louder.
"Let's go... Give'em some space." Avi said softly to Kirstie and Kevin.
They left.
"Mitch..." I heard a girl's voice behind me.
I turned to look who was that and it was Cassie. I turned back to look at Scott. I don't even know whether I'm mad at her or not, but I just turned.
"I'm sorry... Please don't be mad. I'm really really sorry. Please! Please forgive me! I can do anything you say. I'm sorry......." Cassie said repeating and repeating again.
I've made my mind to not blame it on her. After all, it was an accident. It had already happened.
"I'm not mad at you Cassie, not at all. It wasn't your fault. It was actually my fault to talk to Scott. I should have think before talking. It's okay, Cass. We can help Scott to remember everything. We will." I said confidently.
We must bring the old Scott back. We can do it.
