Cassie's POV
Kirstie sent me to Scott and Mitch's apartment right after we pack our stuff.
"Hey Kirst! And... um... Cassie."
It was Mitch opening the door this time.
"Hey guys! It's nice to see you again, Cassie! Let me help you take those heavy bags to your room" Scott joined in with excitement.
"Thanks." I said.
That's all I said. I didn't even say 'bye' to Kirstie.
Scott took my bags and showed me my room. There was no furniture or even a bed!
"Errrr..." I had nothing to say about it.
"Don't worry, Cassie. We'll go shopping tomorrow in Ikea or any furniture store which you like. We will be having loads of fun! So now, you can maybe sleep at the couch and I... We, as in Mitch and I, will get ready your room tomorrow. Okay?" Scott said.
Oh wow. He's really excited about my room. Weird, but cool.
"Okay. Cool." I answered.
We stood there looking at the room. AWKWARD! So I started another conversation.
"May I know where's the toilet?" I asked.
Scott showed me where's where and I finally get to go to the toilet. Like seriously, Scott talks a lot!
I locked the bathroom's door and I heard Mitch whispering to Scott something...
Mitch's POV
Scott showed Cassie where is everything is and Cassie went to the toilet after that. Okay, it's the right time to talk to Scott.
"Scott..." I said while dragging him to the kitchen.
"Yeah?" he asked.
"Um... I... I'm not really good at handling kids. Cassie will not like staying here-" I said halfway.
"Hey, hey, hey. Cassie is not a kid, okay? She's 16, a teenager. Maybe we can ask her where she hadn't been to in Orlando or something. We will be happy and she will be happy too." Scott said.
I nodded. Scott and I have most of the things in common, but one thing we are different, well two things...
1. I'm shorter than him, but whatever! :P
2. Scott's really good at kids, but not me!
We chatted a little and Cassie came out from the bathroom.
"Guys, actually you don't need to do so much things for me. I can continue staying in parks, sleeping on benches and working for food. Thanks for everything guys, goodbye." Cassie said.
She ran towards the exit and left.
My mind was blank, literally blank.
WHAT.
JUST.
HAPPENED.
Scott ran to the exit too, chasing Cassie.
