OOPS

Everything was blurry. There was I ringing in my ears and a nausea that just wouldn't stop. I slowly sat up. Hugh my head was killing me. The room was dark. Thank God. I looked at my night stand. There was a room temperature glass of water, I drank it none the less. I sighed. I got up and went into the kitchen. I saw a note on the counter it read, went to the gym, have some stuff I need to work out. Be back soon - Nick. What stuff ... What , what happened last night. How, HOW DID I GET IN MY PJS?! oh crap I probably screwed up every thing. Did I say. something? This is agony. I heard the door unlock. My heart stopped. Nick walked in holding his gym bag, the big one. Oh no I did do something. He never uses the big bag. Only when he is super stressed. Uh hey your up. He said. The tension was so thick you could cut it. I stood there like a deer in headlights. Uh Blake ... Earth to Blake , he said. Huh?, oh hey, well geez Blake that didn't sound dumb at all. I said that to myself. Sooo what, what happened last night? I asked. You don't remember? Anything? He said um not really ... I remember some of the fight , ... Oh and I remember the ride home , but nothing else. Oh, this is weird. He almost sounded disappointed and relived at the same time. Man, what did I do? A few minutes later he went off to take a shower. I stayed were I was, trying to think about what happened. Nothing came to mind. I fixed some brunch stuff. I made one of nicks favorite grilled Mac n' cheese. Take a piece of bread put a slice of cheddar, Mac n cheese noodles and another piece of cheese then more bread and done!, yeah real healthy, I know. I on the other hand had soup. I was eating my soup when nick came into the kitchen. He was wearing only gray sweat shirt and a towel around his neck. I almost choked on my soup. Apparently he noticed this. You ok, he asked. What?, oh yeah no I'm fine, juuuust peachy. I took sip of my drink. Ok ... He said then chuckled at the end. Eventually the day went on. I stayed in mostly. Nick went out with some friends. He got home about 5:30. At this point I was getting kind of hungry. Hey! I said happily. Hey he chuckled a little, someone's feeling better. He added. Yeah I am, I've slept  it off. Still don't Remember much though. He frowned a little bit. To break the silence I said, hey I'm gonna take a shower why don't you order pizza and a movie. Ok sure he said. I got out of the shower, I heard Nick answer the phone. It sounded like he was talking to one of his friends. I put on my pjs and Walked out quietly, trying not to interrupt his conversation. He had them on speaker. It sounded like Zach, his best friend you know besides me. I walked in and I guess Nick didn't hear me because at that moment I heard Zach say, he did she remember yet? Then Nick said no nothing, I feel kinda bad for her, I mean this would probably embarrass her so much she might move out. I slowly walked back to nicks room. Move out?! What did I do?? You would think I would remember something that important. I cleared my throat and took breath, UH HEY NICK??! i heard him say to Zach he I got to go man that's her. ... YEAH? I responded with a stupid, PIZZA COME YET? UH N- THAT HIM BE RIGHT BACK! he said. Ok I said. When I walked out of the bedroom he was putting the pizza on the bar. What movie did you get? I asked. Uh not sure I told them to just pick a random one, I couldn't decide he said. Oh ok. I was going blank, I couldn't stop thinking about Nick and Zach's conversation. Hey you ok, he asked. What? Oh yeah I'm fine, I just ... I don't know. Are you remembering something ? He asked carefully. I snapped, I don't know Nick is there some big mystery that I should know ?!? Is there Nick? What? No, I'm just trying to be a good friend. He said. I could tell he was lying through his teeth. I scoffed in my head saying how dare he, but in reality I just said your right, I'm sorry I'm just frustrated because I can't remember anything. We sat down to an, at first very awkwardly silent dinner. So uh how was the gym? Good, good he said. What stuff did you need to work out? He was quiet for a minute, uh just stuff, nothing really. Yeah right I thought. Oh ok I said. We finished our pizza. I'll fix the popcorn and stuff I said. We had a tradition I guess you could call it , that when ever we watch a movie or anything we will make popcorn and get candy and eat it all. So it really not a tradition, just more of a bad habit ,... Uh. I was piping the popcorn and dumping the candy into a bowl. Nicks favorite candy was just plain chocolate. My favorite one is peachy-o-s the peach flavored gummies by the way. I was just done the candy into the bowl when the popcorn finished. Ha perfect timing! I took the bowls over to the couch and sat down. So what are we watching? Ugg some kinda chick flick. Hey it's not that bad. We were half way through the movie. Nick looked over at me, closed his eyes and made a fake snore. hey come on. I pushed him over he sat back up looked at me again and said ahh. In his language this meant, popcorn. I reached for a piece and we were out. Oh! Well I'll go get some more. I said. Hurry! Before I die of boredom!!! Oh hush I joked back. I was pouring the popcorn into the bowl when a scene in the movie stood out to me for some reason. I was watching it intently, jack I shouldn't you be telling you this, rose just tell me already, I - I - I think I'm in love with you. Oh my god! Oh my god finally all the memories of last night came rushing back. So that what he wanted me to remember! He wanted kme to remember, .... Me telling him .. I- I - love him. Finally thinking out I practically scream
