My Dream Girl?
After seeing Lauren kiss someone else my mind kept replaying the scene enough for me to get riled up. Selena was cuddled up to my side but even she wasn't able to get my mind off of Lauren.
"Sel, let's go to your hotel. I'm so tired of being enclosed in this shitty tour bus." I unintentionally let my emotions get the best of me and Selena rolled out of the bunk, waiting for me to follow her. We walked across the lot to her car and she drove us to her hotel where a crowd of fans were gathered for her arrival. She practically flipped them off and I apologized for her actions, greeting a few of her fans and staying behind to talk with them.
"Are you and Selena dating?" One asked and I smiled but shook my head in response. "Selena is an amazing girl but I'm with Lauren." I replied before walking inside of the hotel. Selena was impatiently waiting for me on the elevator so I got on beside her, watching as she pressed the button to the roof.
"Wow! You got a room on the roof?" Sarcasm dripped from my voice and Selena crossed her arms in response to my snarky remark.
"Don't start giving me attitude baby girl. It won't end well with me." Selena warned and I melted at her words. She smirked when she noticed I became flustered and I shut my mouth the whole elevator ride. The sun was setting and Selena pulled me out of the elevator, taking a seat on the roof ledge. I was uneasy about sitting down so I wrapped my arms around her to keep her from falling off the fifty story building. She excitedly watched the sky change color but my eyes refused to leave her. The sunset was beautiful but Selena had my full attention.
"Why won't you be with me? I'm so infatuated with you, I've liked you for years. I helped pick up your broken pieces when Justin and you broke up, I've been there for you like no one else has. I always choose you over everything but you haven't done the same. I'm tired of chasing after you." Selena rotated in my arms, still sitting on the ledge of the hotel. Her eyes stared at my lips and with just that simple stare, my whole body was sent into overdrive. I took a second to make eye contact with her and she leaned in to capture my lips.
It took me a minute to take in the fact that Selena was indeed kissing me but once I came to the realization, my lips picked up their pace. The smell of her perfume, the softness of her lips, the way she moved them, everything about her was intoxicating.
As I pulled away Selena's warm brown eyes became green. Her round face was a bit slimmed down and her eyebrows held a serious position. "Lauren?" I squinted my eyes to see the true person in front of me and after blinking furiously Selena came back into view.
"You say you like me but you moaned her name. Go fuck yourself." Selena shoved me off of her and I let her walk away. I watched as she entered the elevator and she only turned around to show me her middle finger.
Sighing, I hopped up on the ledge and took a seat. Lauren's voice played in my head and I sang along to the lyrics of our song. We weren't just friends anymore. We couldn't be. All of the kissing, the signs of affection, the way we looked at each other, it wasn't fake anymore like it used to be. It was real & it was a very frightening situation. Lauren and I were gaining feelings for each other, feelings we shouldn't have.
To Lauren: Can we talk? I just realized something.
I put my phone back in my pocket and smiled at the sea of fans below me. Selena had just left so the new crowd must've been for me. They couldn't see me from all the way up here so I made my way down to them.
"Y/N! Y/N! I LOVE YOU!" An over excited fan shouted and I went over to plant a kiss on her cheek, cringing at the loud screams she let out next to my ear.
