The cab finally arrived at Aaron's destination. The rain was still dripping like a faucet that had just been turned on, a steady drip onto the face of the pavement. Aaron reached and paid the driver, telling him to keep the change he got out of the car and swiftly ran to the awaiting lobby of his apartment block. The rain sound was muffled here, it echoed off the ways as he keyed his floor number, and the lift shot up.

There wasn't much to do in the apartment. Being a perfectionist took skill, but was one of his major let downs. Things took time, but once they were done they were finished until another mood breezed in. He checked the counter. Kettle, check. Toaster, check. The wine glass from the previous night was left standing; another mistake from another person. He would regret this later. Pushing through another door led into his somewhat spacious bedroom, kicking off his shoes, neatly placing upon a shelf as he dived into the en-suite, Showering fully dressed.

Stripping once out of the shower it was almost impossible to pry the wet clothes off his body, there was a basket to hide for now the created mess, but being out of sight meant to him it was out of his mind's eye. Daylight still streaked through the half open window as he fell onto the sheets, into a fitful sleep.

The cab driver stared towards him as if trying to relay some sort of hidden message. Aaron reached out to help him but no words formed in his mouth. That's when the driver opened his mouth. Red raw blood poured out as he seemed to enter some sort of fit. Aaron heard screaming off in the distance, this was followed by a banging that sounded close by.

The banging wasn't in his dream, it sounded like it was coming from the hallway outside of the apartment.

"Noisy neighbours." Aaron murmured to himself as he reached to grab his watch from the side table. Walking into his living space which connected to the hallway which connected all the apartments to the outside, dreary world.

It was at this moment the door came smashing down and armoured police came rushing in, tasers up.

"ON THE FLOOR", One shouted frantically waving his Taser in Aaron's general direction.

"What the fu-"Aaron started to exclaim when 10,000 jolts of electricity hit his chest and sent him thrashing into his minimalistic coffee table.

"You are being arrested on the suspicion of murder, you have the right to remain silent, anything you do, say-" The words faded into silence as his head lulled him back into unconsciousness.
