Pacing around my room, worrying about the picnic, BBQ, whatever the get together was called I was trying to think of a way to impress everyone there. Do I be myself? Or someone who is a kiss ass? Honestly, I just don't want to come off pushy and demanding...

I was already in my bikini and wondering what to wear on top of it. A dress, big t-shirt, or just shorts... I'll ask Sadie what she's wearing.

"Hey Sadie?" I peeked into the hallway, hiding my body behind the door only exposing my head and called down to the direction of her room.

"What's up?" She asked, coming out of her room and walking my way.

"I need a little bit of help.." I answered and smiled sheepishly. She just smiled and pushed her way into my room, with my permission of course, and sat on the edge of my bed.

"What seems to be the predicament?" She crossed her left leg over top of her right and intertwined her fingers around her legs. She's such a lady...

Maybe I need to take lessons from her...

"Well, I need help with what I'm wearing. So I wanted to know what you were dressing with tonight..." I asked looking at the floor.

"Well, I'm wearing a big t-shirt and short short jeans." How the?

"How?" I'm beyond confused right now... as you call tell I probably wasn't the best dressed student at my high school...

"Slip on a pair of shorts, then an oversized t." I did as she said and walked back over to her. "Hand me a hair tie" she instructed. Grabbing one as she asked, she took it and told me to turn around. She grabbed the shirt and pulled it tight around my waist, tucking the hem inside, and wrapped the tire around the shirt as if it were a tail. Then she tucked that under and I felt a slight draft on the small of my back. "There, done."

I turned and looked into the mirror and saw that it did look pretty cool. although it was my old 'Got Braces, We Do' T.

"Ok that looks pretty cool." I said smiling. "When do we leave?" I asked twirling in front of the mirror.

"hold on a sec." She grabbed her phone and texted someone. There was a faint ding and cursing going on down stairs.

"DAMN IT SADIE! I'M RIGHT HERE! YOU DON'T NEED TO TEXT AT EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY!" Willie yelled.

"Wait for it." She said.

"Umm... Well be leaving in ten." He replied not five seconds later. We just laughed and headed downstairs.

"What will we be doing?" I asked, following her as she went to the living room.

"You remember Jase' s red neck water park?" She asked, sitting on the couch.

"Yeah."

"We'll be doing that! Only everyone will be there from the factory." She explained. Just then Willie walked in, wisk in hand.

"Hannah, you'll start next week." He said bluntly, then looked into my eyes to see if I agreed. I just simply nodded and waited for him to retreat.

"Sounds like a deal." I said. This time he nodded and left. Sadie started laughing so loud that I swear the people from the CMA Music Festival could hear her!

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"You!"

"Ok simmer down now." I laughed. John Luke came down and stood pointing at her. "You don't want to know..." I answered while shaking my head.

At The BBQ

"No Cole! Put me down now!"

I was struggling out of his grasp, laughing and trying anything to get him to let go. He had me held securely in his arms bridal style. As he approached the water and his grip loosened I climbed onto his back and wrapped my legs around his torso.

"Woah, easy there spider monkey." He laughed. "Just get in the water."

"I'm good!" I replied, clinging my arms around his neck. He placed his hands securely on my thighs.

"I guess you didn't think this through Hannah!" He laughed and backed away from the water slowly.

"Cole, what do you think your doing?" when he didn't really I spun around to look at Sadie with pleading eyes. She simply laughed in my face. "COLE!" I yelled as he ran full speed and jumped into the water.

I was submerged in water and when we rose to the surface I swam to shore.

"OH MY LANTA! It's bloody freezing!" I yelled, clinging to myself in a not so warm hug. "Cole, you're a dead man" I simply said. "I'm cold." I said as I stood in front of Sadie.

"Then grab a towel." She laughed. I huffed and sat down next to her, wrapping myself in my towel.

"Well then." I scoffed, earning a few laughs from Sadie, Reed, and John Luke.

"Hannah, I'm sorry I had to do it." Cole laughed while emerging from the water.

"I'm sorry, do you hear an annoying buzzing noise or is it just me?" I asked smiling along with Sadie.

"Oh so I'm an annoying buzzing noise now huh?" He teased. He made his way over to me.

"You know, it's not going away." I laughed while hitting myself in my ear, like I had a bug in it or something. Then it hit me. Literally, he through a water balloon at me... "You little." I said standing.

"Oh the lil country girl is mad, so scared." He joked, hands up in mock surrender.

"You better be, every year we played baseball at an abandoned field... They always used me as the pitcher, cause I had the best aim and speed." I said, tossing a balloon in my hands, eyeing him like he was going to die.

"Boy you better run..." Willie said. I smirked at his response and fired.

John Luke's P.O.V

When I saw Hannah climbing on Cole, trying to get away from the water jealousy rose in my blood, but also happiness. I was happy that she was having fun.

Dad had me choose who the new crew member was, cause it was my idea anyway. We needed more help.... Yeah there was girls but they were city girls looking to be famous, nothing in their applications that spoke to me. Hannah though, she had an impressive life style.

She knows how to cook amazingly, can ride horses like nobody's business, she can shoot almost with perfect aim, and she's sweet. I think we needed a girl on the team, and a new girl around here would help keep Sadie off of our backs...

But as soon as she fired that water balloon at Cole... We all lost it... it curved and hit the side of his face...

"Told you to run Cole..." Willie said, shaking his head.

"It's on Hannah." and then the water fight started... good thing we had 1000 balloons... We bought ten packs of the 100 count... this is gonna be a fun night.
