Tony woke up to a small child bouncing on his chest and shouting loudly. Four more piled into the huge room followed by Loki, who looked like he was about to punch someone. Tony muttered some unintelligible swear words and attempted to burrow back under the duvet but the person, who turned out to be Steve was still shouting. One word. Funfair.

Thor clambered on top of him too and waved a purple flier in his face. Tony couldn't miss the words "Fun fair" as Thor waved it madly. The others too were looking excited and starting to walk over to the bed. Before any of the others got to wrong idea, Tony tipped Thor off the bed but Steve managed to cling on. "What's this?" Steve asked curiously, sitting on the tired Tony Stark and placing a hand on the cool blue circle that was in his chest. "My heart." Tony mumbled, trying to push Steve off. "It's made of ice, that's why he's so mean." Loki stage whispered and Tony opened one eye again to look at him. Loki smirked slightly and Tony rolled his eyes.

The kids laughed and Thor climbed back onto the bed, making Tony groan and shove a pillow over his head. Natasha joined them, burrowing into the crook of Tony's arm and even the man who technically didn't have one, didn't have the heart to push her off. Sighing in defeat, Tony watched as Thor sat on one leg, Clint the other and Bruce made himself comfortable against Tony's spare arm. Loki laughed from the side of the bed. "Are you gonna join in next Loki? What is this? Hug Tony day?" The kids didn't even bother to respond and continued to talk about the funfair flier.

Loki patted Thor's head, before leaving the room to start on breakfast. Loki never found out how Tony managed to fight all five kids but eventually he stumbled into the kitchen looking incredibly exhausted with all of them trailing behind him without even announcing his presence. Tony opened the fridge and grab the milk carton. He swung himself up onto the wide countertop and, without bothering to get a glass, chugged down some of the milk straight from the carton. "Tony!" Loki exclaimed, looking disgusted and setting down a plate of toast. Tony looked at him, looking incredibly grumpy, "What?" He asked moodily.
"You can't do that, it's gross!" Loki replied, wrinkling his nose and making a snatch for the milk. Tony moved it away quickly, "I paid for it." He answered, drinking some more.
"You're so gross." Loki said simply, giving up and letting Tony win this time. After looking at Tony's smug face however, he decided to never do so again in the future.
"I'm going out tonight." Tony announced casually.
The reaction in the room, was the same as if someone had just announced the world was ending.
"Wait, what?" Loki asked surprised.
"We're going to the fair!" Clint cried outraged.
"I wanted to go on Alien Zappers 3." Bruce muttered sadly.
"Look here!" Steve shouted jabbing his finger onto Tony's chest (he had to stand on a table). "We're going to the funfair, and you're coming with us!"
"Well, Loki can take you." Tony answers. "I need some me-time."
"No way! First of all, maybe I want some me-time too!"
"Do you even know what me-time is?"
"Yes!... No."
"Exactly."
"I am a god! I will not be left to carry around five children around an amusement park... On my own!"
"I'm not either. There's noise and gross smells, and the chances are some snotty kid is going to barf or spill something down my designer suit!"
"We're going." Loki argued.
"We're not." Tony replied firmly.
Tony realised something was tugging at his sleeve. He looked down to see Natasha staring back up again with doleful eyes.
"Funfair." She mumbled sadly wrapping herself around his leg.
Tony sighed defeatedly. "Fine," he said in the most reluctant voice he could muster. "But when I say so you'd all better be lined up at the door, ready to go, or we won't be going at all."
The kids cheered loudly, hi-fiving and jumping up and down. Loki joined them, just to get on Tony's nerves. Tony glared at him, and left the room.
The day crawled on for Loki and the kids. They sat restlessly staring at the clock, fidgeting around and not focusing. Tony meanwhile stayed in one of his rooms all day doing Asgard knows what. After what seemed like a lifetime, Tony appeared next to them.
"Jarvis, get a car ready." Tony said.
The kids jumped up and ran to the door laughing excitedly. They scrambled into the car, peering their heads round the seats and poking each other.
"Look me in the eye and tell me that you're not excited." Loki said to Tony from the front seat.
Tony smiled and laughed a little.
