Having just come back from an amazing holiday and spending on week in the beautiful sun, the kids were not at all happy when they were told they would be going back to school. Needless to say, it took an incredibly long conversation filled with both pleading and threatening before the kids finally got into the car to go to school. Moody silence filled the car as they drove to the school. "It's not that bad," Loki placated them as they pulled into the school car park.

The five kids gave him a skeptical look as they walked back to the classroom. Tony tried to leave quickly before the teacher saw them, pulling Loki with him but it was too late and Miss Pensworth was strutting towards them at the speed of light. She grabbed Tony's arm. "Tony!" She greeted with a warm smile.

"Mr Stark," Loki corrected which earned him a scorching glare. Tony soothed down his suit and gave out a charming laugh which made Loki stare.

"Yes, we're both Mr Stark," Tony lied, making Loki's jaw drop. He closed it quickly, "Loki's been so proud of the name, he keeps saying it." Tony said good naturedly, wrapping his arm around Loki's waist. Miss Pensworth was glaring daggers at Loki and was wearing the tightest and most obviously fake smile that Loki had ever seen.

Tony laughed again. "Well, don't forget parent's evening tonight," She said, backing away and staring at the children instead.

"Of course," Tony smiled, giving her a polite nod before taking Loki's hand and pulling him away. They walked down the corridors in silence.

"What the hell?" Loki asked flatly when they reached the car park. Tony shrugged.

"She kept flirting with me and I'm yours. Marriage is just a formality, making me legally yours. She'll leave me alone now," he explained with a slight smile. Loki wasn't sure how he was supposed to be feeling. He twisted his ring again, his mind once again drifting to thoughts about what would happen if it was a marriage ring. Tony, apparently, saw nothing romantic about marriage whatsoever and saw it as nothing more than a legal binding, but Loki wasn't sure if he actually meant that. It was something Tony would do to pretend that he didn't ever want to be married. Then again. . . Loki realised he was way over thinking something that had almost zero chance of happening.

"Parent's evening should be pretty funny, at least," Tony said with a laugh which made Loki groan.

"Oh Gods, what is Clint's report going to be like?" The distraught God asked which made Tony laugh even harder.

"Who cares what it's like, they're kids. And not to mention they've already been through school. Well, maybe?" Tony wondered allowed, realising that between Steve going to war, Natasha's childhood of horrors, Bruce's expansion, Clint's circus career and the fact that Thor was an alien, the group probably didn't have a high school diploma between them, "You should have seen my reports," Tony joked.

"Oh, Mother could never stand to teach me much. Of course, Thor was the Golden boy even though he's so dimwitted," Loki said with distaste.

"So, we have your Mother to blame for the fact that Thor always sounds like he just came back from reading Shakespeare in the park?" Tony smirked.

"Says you, Midsummer Night's Dream," Loki teased with a smirk. Tony groaned loudly.

"Are you ever going to let me forget it?" Tony asked, sounding defeated.

"Of course not, Anthony."

"Anthony now?"

"Well Tony is not very Shakespearian is i-" Loki was cut off by another loud groan from Tony.

Inside of the classroom, the kids were receiving a stern lecture. "Now make sure to be on your best behaviour, it's parent's evening tonight," Miss Pensworth warned them, eyeing the five of them especially.
