Elsa was truly happy that Jack didn't come home yet. It was half past seven and she was still soaking wet. If the master of the house saw her like that, God knows what he'll do.

She stood in front of Daymen's room with a frown. Beside her, was Evelyn who was holding a fluffy teddy that was obviously, pink.

"Elsie," she called. "Aren't you going inside?"

Elsa smiled at the name. Because of the fact that she gave Evelyn a nickname, it was fair that the little girl got to give her nanny one as well. But that smile faded back into a frown as she faced the door again.

"Ye–yeah."

With shaky hands, she grabbed onto the door handle and opened it slowly. It was quite amusing seeing her getting frightened over a little boy. But this boy was no ordinary boy. Oh no he wasn't. If anything happens to him, he's obviously going to tell Jack which will cause Elsa to get fired. So this boy, is like treasure, to Elsa that is.

The door opened and the two stepped in. Daymen figure sat on the bed with his back facing them. His head was down as he fidgeted with his hands.

"Daymen?" Elsa called with a frown. She took a step forward, holding hands with Evelyn. "I wanted to say that I'm sor–"

"Go away," he interrupted. "I don't need to hear your silly apologises."

Elsa's frown deepened. She really shouldn't have said that. It seems that her brain was just filled up with anger and so much emotion that she couldn't control what she was saying. If only there was a time machine so that she could go back in time.

I need a scientist.

Sighing, she walked towards the little boy leaving Evelyn at the door. She sat down on the bed beside him and faced forward. Luckily for her, Daymen didn't say anything or complain, which was highly weird.

Her eyes turned to the boy next to her. "I know that you don't want to talk to me. Anyone would be as angry as you are if I said the same thing to someone else," she explained. "But I was so stupid back there."

A smile formed on her lips as she thought that Daymen would actually turn to face her. But that smile faded seeing no reaction from him.

She faced forward again. "I was like this at your age, so stubborn and annoying," she stated with a giggle.

"I didn't want to upset anyone or cause trouble. All I wanted was to feel loved. But because my parents were too busy with business and other work, they had no time for me. I know how you feel Daymen. You just want to feel loved."

There was no response from him. Elsa paused as she looked at the boy who was staring at the ground with a plain expression.

"It might not come from your dad, but I'm always here for you Daymen. You could just see me as an older sister or a mum."

This definitely had a reaction on him. The boy slowly turned his head to face Elsa who wore a smile. Daymen blinked a couple of times, thinking deeply about it. But after a few seconds, his facial expression turned back to an ice cold look.

"I don't need anyone."

His voice was literally as cold as the Arctic. It could freeze the whole earth with such coldness.

Elsa didn't know what to do. She's never been in such a situation. She sighed helplessly and looked over at Evelyn. She held a small smile as she got up.

All the happiness inside of her, drowned in the sink. "Evie," she began with a quiet voice. "I think you should get some sleep. If you don't, then your dad will kill me." A soft giggle escaped her lips as she walked towards the little girl.
