After Jackson--also, now, known as the kanima--took off, Stiles and Scott and I had gotten to the jeep before Derek and Boyd disappeared with Isaac and Erica, and we were trying our hardest to get to the kanima first. Because if Derek found him first . . . he'd kill him.

Not that Derek knew that it was Jackson in the first place.

Well, we were pushing way over the speed limit in the jeep when I saw the tire spikes in front of us. "Stiles!"

"I know," he said, pulling to a stop.

"What do we do now?" I asked Scott, both of us facing him, but he was already out of the jeep, the door open as he mounted the chain link fence and dropped to the ground, and kept on running. "Oh, okay," I said with a very heavy sigh, moving to the front seat next to Stiles. "We gotta go after him."

"Where?"

"I don't know where," I said with annoyance, but then kept it down to where my voice was normal. "Just follow him."

"Can't go this way."

"Then turn around and go back the other, and then follow him."

Finally, we found Scott again, but Stiles said, "Stay here."

"What?" I asked, but more of a medium demand.

"Stay here," he repeated.

"Why?"

"Because Jackon/kanima already tried to kill us once--I'm not letting that happen to you again."

"I'll be fine."

"Yeah, how do you know that?"

"Stiles--"

"Just stay."

He shut the door to the jeep and ran off in the direction Scott was looking around a corner to a club, and I let out a huff of breath, sitting back against the seat as I looked after him.

After a few seconds of them talking and Stiles backing up, and looking up, Scott standing next to them and them heading further back into the alley, I was slowly getting out of the jeep, whispering, "What the hell?" and following after them.

They were already gone by the time I stopped running into the alley, and I looked around, wondering where they could've taken off to so fast. I looked up the buildings, but I didn't see a semi-wolf with a very clumsy human on his back as they climbed up, so I knew that they hadn't gone up there.

I looked toward the ground of the alley, noticing a broken off door handle.

Didn't think that that was a coincidence. I picked it up from the ground, looking to the door that was next to it, and it had the whole in the door where it meant that the door knob had been part of this door.

And they could've only gone in there.

I kinda felt like Nancy Drew.

I shrugged and pulled the door open, letting the door knob drop to the ground as I got in, the door swinging shut behind me.

When I walked through the back hall, it led to the club that I had seen outside, strob and laser lights flashing every where and a disco ball twirling with techno beats.

I couldn't find the two loser dudes I was looking for, but I saw a lot of others--only dudes.

Well, great, I thought. Maybe I should've just stayed in the car instead of walking into a gay club!

Oh, well, too late.

I walked in further, pushing past all of the guys as I looked for Stiles and Scott.
