I said "Luke, I'm sorry but I have to go." then bit my lip more.

The blood is gone mainly by now, thank god!!

He raised his eyebrows with so much confusion.

Luke's P.O.V

Okay that's so weird!
I don't even know what's happening anymore!!

Why did I do this...
This is causing both of us anxiety!!
Almost ten....
Ten...
Almost ten fucking long years!!!!!

She added "Well... I have to take some photos for a job at the park...."

She always says 'well' and trails off when she's lying....
God!! So she is lying!!

I gulped and said "Want me to come?"

Lorraine shrugged and looked down.
She then muttered "Its up to you."

I said "I will." and tried to bring my lip ring back into place.

She shrugged once again for no reason.

Then she finally looked up to me and pushed her hair out of her face.

She said "I'll meet you there? Or do you wanna come in my car??"

I shrugged and said "Up to you." and smiled gently.

Lorraine's thought: Stop!!
Ughh!!
Him smiling laughing, killing me!!

Lorraine said "Just come with me."

I nodded.

She said "My car is parked out that door..." and she pointed to the door we entered in.

I nodded once again and we started walking that way.

10 minutes past

We got to Lorraine's car.

I sat in the passengers seat with the awkward silence filling the car.

I decided I should break the silence.

I asked "So why do you need to take pictures at the park?"

She smiled a little and said "I'm a photographer now, actually. You remember? I use to take photos a lot."

God stop smiling!!
God!!
This is the new us..
The broken us!!
And now I hate it!!

Then I heard her mutter "For you and the band.."

I said "Oh that's cool." ignoring her statement about the band, like I didn't hear it.

20 minutes past

Lorraine's P.O.V

Thank god I lied to Rahart....
I know that sounds so bad..
Because that right now is saving my ass...
I told Rahart about the photoshoot and have camera equipment!

I got out of the car, Luke did as well.

I got the camera out of the bag in the trunk.
I grabbed a smaller tripod and a extra lens.

Luke said "What are you going to take pictures of here? There's nothing." as he pointed around the park.
The kids on the playground, the flowers, a few trees and just the grass.
