Toby’s POV: I woke up from my nap and found Jamie cuddling with me. I got up without waking her but put out her arms realizing that I wasn’t there so I stroked her cheek and she slowly opened her eyes and said “oh you’re awake. Did I fall aslep?” I replied “yes.” Jamie got up and hugged me tight like she hasn’t seen me in forever. I picked her up and brought her downstairs, it was about 5:47 (pm) so I made us some dinner. It took 30 minutes to make so it was ready about 6:29 so I made us plates and Jenna came downstairs and yelled “what smells so good?!” Jenna sat down next to Jamie and ate, Jamie and Jenna seemed to really like my cooking. After Jamie helped clean up she told me that I should take a shower tonight before I met her mom, I said “okay I’ll go shower if you go to my house and get my pajamas.” She said okay and I watched her walk out the door. I ran to the hall closet and got a towel, Jenna came up to me and said “I know that you’re up to something Toby. I really wanna know because I like hearing those kind of things and if it’s that I can’t tell her then I wont.” I sighed and said quietly “okay. I plan on Jamie meeting my parents next week so we’d get really close.” Jenna raised an eyebrow and I continued “after she meets my parents a few days after when the time is right… I’m going to propse.”
Jenna’s POV: OMGOMGOMG!!! I thought something was up but not that big! I’m fangirling on the inside but on the outside I’m chill and replied to Toby “That’s so sweet! Now I know why you were out with Jack, it all makes sense. I swear I wont tell her.” Toby said “you better not tell her! I want it all to be a surprise.” I smiled and said “okay and watched Toby go into the bathroom.” When I heard the water start I ran upstairs and screamed into my pillow. I was so happy for Jamie and she didn’t suspect a thing.
My POV: I got Toby’s pajamas and fed Gryphon while I was there, Gryphon ate and I watched him run up to me when he finished eating. I pet him for a minute and then grabbed Toby’s pajamas and went back to my place. I got home and laid on the couch until I heard the water stop. Toby came out of the bathroom with his hair soaked and a towel wrapped around his waist. I gave him his clothes and he went and changed and sat on the floor next to the couch as I stared at the wall. I said “I’m really tired you can go upstairs and sleep on my bed if you want, I don’t wanna move.” Toby laughed and picked me up, I groaned as he walked up the stairs slowly. Toby moved the covers and laid me down and tucked me in, he kissed my forehead and said “goodnight nugget.” I watched him walk to the other side of my bed and lay down facing his back to me, I got close and held his arm as I fell asleep.
It was early the next day and I woke up before Toby and texted my mum, I told her that I’m bringing Toby to meet her. I got out my casual clothes which were just jeans and the tee shirt that Toby gave me. I shook Toby lightly and said “wakey wakey Toby.” He groaned and asked “do I have to?” he checked his phone and said “it’s 7:45, this is too early.” I kissed him and he said “okay you hve my attention.” as he sat up and looked at me. I said let’s get you ready to meet my mum, he said “oh yeah. Okay let’s go to my house and pick out an outfit for me.”
Toby’s POV: I found my keys and said “are you ready Jamie?” She ran downstairs and was at the door when I got there and she said “yup. What do you think of my casual look?” I honestly didn’t care how she dressed because she’d always be beautiful in my eyes I replied “you look amazing as always. By the way I like what you did with your hair.” She smiled big and I led her outside, we got in my car and I drove to my house. I ran inside and to my bathroom and brushed my teeth as Jamie strolled in, she watched me brush my hair all nice and she messed it up a little. I widened my eyes and Jamie said “I don’t want you to look perfect, I want you to look like you normally do.” I smiled and Jamie walked me to my room, I went to my closet and held up shirts. I came across my green Tobuscus tee shirt and Jamie said “that’s perfect.” I took off my old shirt and put on the Tobuscus shirt. Jamie looked at the pants and picked my plaid ones. I asked her to go out to let me change so she waited.
My POV: I stood outside his door until he yelled “I’m done!” I looked at him and said “you look great!” Toby searched his room for his converse, he found his red ones and slipped on some socks and put on his shoes. I checked the time my phone said 8:58, I got a message from my mum saying “okay :)” I replied to her text saying “we’ll be there in 10.” Toby walked out to his living room and got his wallet and keys. I walked outside and leaned on his car, he ran out and said “okay let’s go.” I got in and he drove and parked in the front of the hotel when we got there, he turned to me and he was actually nervous and asked “will she like me or should I act different?” I looked at him and said “she’ll like you because I got her into watching your videos. She thinks you have a great personality and she knows how much I love you.” Toby said “okay..” I got out and opened Toby’s door and said “just be you.” He stood up and walking in and said “she’s on the 3rd floor room 333.” Toby grabbed my hand and led me to the elevator. I pushed the button and hugged him, he wrapped his arm around my waist and the door opened. I found the room and knocked, I grabbed Toby’s hand and my mum answered the door. I said “hi mum!” she hugged me and I pulled Toby into the room. Toby let go of my hand and said “hi I’m Toby Turner, I’m glad to finally meet you.” My mum shook his hand and said “it was mighty sweet of you to pay for me to see my daughter and meet the one she loves so much.” Toby smiled and told her about how we met at the carnival and how he was glad to see me after Vidcon. I told my mum that Jenna couldn’t make it because I couldn’t wake her up, my mum laughed and told Toby that if he breaks my heart that she knows people that will hunt him down and make sure he gets what he deserves. Toby swallowed hard and said nervously “you wont have to worry about that, I would never leave her.” I smiled and he pulled me close to him and I rested my head on his shoulder. My mum offered us anything to eat or drink I asked for a water and Toby did the same. I sat on the bed and listened to my mum tell Toby the funny time about me being born. We spent an 2 hours there then my mum said she was going to see some of the city so Toby said “be careful and it was so nice to meet her.” Toby kissed my cheek and handed me his keys and said “can you start up the car I’ll be down in a few minutes?” I smiled and said sure. I exited and went down t the lobby.
Toby’s POV: Robin asked what I had to say if I wasn’t aloud around. I said “when I first met up with Jamie after Vidcon… I was in love and knew that I wanted to be with her. After dating her for a week and a half I know that what we have is real, next week she’s going to meet my parents. At least a week after she meets my parents… I think I’m going to propose.” Her hand flew over her mouth and she gasped, she said “I think that is great, I hope the best for you two. I wont tell her about it if it’s supposed to be a surprise.” I replied “yeah I want it to be a secret, I want this to be special.” Robin said “okay, and don’t keep her waiting too long.” I gave her a hug and said “goodbye, thank you for the blessing.” She waved and I ran out and took the stairs down and Jamie was talking to the bell boy. I said “you ready?” I bent down and caught my breath, she handed me her water and walked me to the car and she unlocked it. I sat down and she asked “did you take the stairs?” I caught my breath and said “yeah. The elevator seemed to mainstream at the time.”
My POV: I giggled and sat in the passenger seat, I handed him the keys and he shut his door and started the car. We drove to his house and on the way I decided to vlog, I told everyone that Toby met my mum and he said “I was nervous for nothing she liked me a lot.” I smiled and Toby pulled into his driveway and I said “goodbyee my lovelys” and posted it on YouTube. Toby opened my door and said “do you wanna be lazy and watch YouTube videos?” I looked at him and said “it’s like you read my mind.” We went inside and got his laptop and laid on the floor on our stomachs. We watched a lot of Jacks and Totallysketch, but then it got boring so Toby started to tickle me and I wrapped my legs around him and he kissed me. I messed up his hair and he said in lisp “you have no idea how long it takes to get my hair like that.” I pushed him gently and said “you’re a dork Toby Turner.”
