Time passes unnoticed when you are near.
Waiting for you is an eternity,
It brings agony to my soul.
Your kind eyes shine like a million stars in heaven,
Your smile is like a rainbow after a big storm.
Before we met I had a dark cloud above my head,
Now, the sun comes more often.
"Give me your heart", you said this morning
And I know it's a fair trade.
I get your heart and you'll have mine.
The distance keeps us apart but God
Brought us together.
I never imagined this could happen but
He did it for an unknown reason.
It's a mystery to me but
He has the answer.
Like two drops of water, a perfect match.
Here you are next to me,
Miles away helping,
Talking,
Loving me and
Being the inspiration for me to write again.
