Her eyes show her hurt and shock at my words. I also know she's in awe. She knows my power now. I'm not somebody to be toyed with. Whether she is doing it on purpose or not, she's injected herself into my body like a virus. I know that the only way for me to rid myself of her is to consume her, to take so much of her into me that I no longer crave her. Even now, with my fingers on her soft skin, I want more. I need more. I feel feverish touching her. I need to have my fill of her. Then everything will be fine in my world again. I've enjoyed my life before. The power, the women, the ability to do what I want, when I want. I don't want to think about her. I have to have her and then leave her. I ignore the tingle inside of me as I look down at the newspaper. Cassidy is my fiancée for a week. I smile to myself at the thought. She is my fiancée to do what I want with. I am going to enjoy every second of making her mine. I ignore the warning bells that are going off in my head.
The game I am playing is starting to feel dangerously real, and I can't help but wonder if this is the beginning of the end or the beginning of ever after.
