Her view.

We both take the packets and are about to go and introduce ourselves to the other students when Henrietta grabs us both by the shoulders.
"Oh, I almost forgot to remind you. Classes start tomorrow, bright and early. Please know that attendance is monitored and you will fail if you don't attend 80% of your classes." She looks at us sternly, but it's hard to take her seriously as she's hiccupping. "Oh, yeah. There will be a ball at the end of the year, so start thinking about dresses and dates. You're both pretty girls, so I don't think you'll have problems snagging a date." She pauses for a moment and looks at us thoughtfully. "Oh, and one more thing. I almost forgot. There are 2 professors overseeing the program this year. They will have 2 special get-togethers at their houses at some point during the term. Make sure you show up. It looks really bad if you don't."
"Okay, thanks." I nod and nudge Anna so that she'll walk away. I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with all the information Henrietta gave us. "See you later, girls." She grins at us and takes another large gulp of the beer in her hands.
"Bye."

I wave at her and am about to whisper something to Anna when I look up and realize that the blue-eyed boy's standing in front of me, grinning. "Hello." He reaches his hand out towards me. "I'm Louis."
"Cassidy." I shake his hand and am pleasantly surprised that he's not squeezing it too hard or too limply like most of the guys I know back home do.
"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He gives me a dazzling smile and I blush and try not to remember how Harry responded to my name.
"Thank you."
"Are you American?"
"Is it that obvious?" I laugh. "I'm starting to feel like the redheaded stepchild."
"No." He shakes his head and his brown hair falls perfectly in place. "I was just curious."
"I suppose you wonder why I'm in this program?" He makes a face. "My brother convinced my mother it would be good for me because I sort of played around a bit too much last year."
"Oh, that sucks."
"Not really." His eyes sparkle at me. "I'm quite glad he played the overbearing bully this time."
"Oh?" I laugh nervously as he leans in towards me.
"yes."
"Cassie, you coming?" Anna calls back to me, and I nod.
"Sorry, I have to go." I smile at Louis, and he looks at me in disappointment.
"What are you studying, Cassidy?"
"Art history."
"Really?" His eyes gleam and he shakes his head. "I heard the professor's an asshole."
"Oh, no," I groan. "Just my luck."
"Don't worry. I'll be in the class as well."
"Oh?"
"Yeah. This way my brother really gets to watch my every step."
"Huh?" I look at him in confusion, but then Anna grabs my arm. "Come on, Cassie." She  nods towards the blond guy, and I give Louis a quick smile.
