Chapter 46

5 Days Later

"Ms.Gilinsky?" a nurse asked looking around the waiting room for me.

"Yes ma'am?"  I replied standing up and walking over to her.

"Can you follow me back to your brother's room please?" she asked with a smile.

"Yeah of course." I followed her to the room for the first time without Grayson. Grayson was out getting us some lunch and I told him to just take some time to himself. We were at a little gift shop one day and apparently he saw someone and pulled me out of the shop quickly. He won't tell me who it is no matter what I say. He has also started acting different ever since that happened so I just thought that he needed some time alone.

"Okay so I wanted to tell the both of you when you were together." the nurse said breaking me from my thoughts of Grayson.

"Is everything okay?" Jack asks letting worry take over his face.

"Oh yes everything is perfectly fine and because everything is perfectly fine you get to go home either tonight or tomorrow morning." the nurse smiled.

I looked down at Jack in shock and I saw a smile grow over his face.

"Oh my god are you serious!" he asked looking over at me then back to the nurse.

"Yes sir I am. I will talk to the doctor and see exactly when you are leaving." she smiled before walking out of the room. "Oh also you can send your sister or call someone to bring you clothes. I'm pretty sure you don't want to walk around in a hospital gown." he smiled and shook his head no.

"Ally did you hear that? I get to go home!" he said cheerfully. He sat up on the bed and pulled me into a hug.

"I can't believe it!" I replied. I thought I was going to cry but I guess I've cried enough.

Grayson's POV

Ally sent me out to go get lunch but I knew she just wanted me to think of a way to tell her who I saw. If I told her it would hurt her too much. 

She may not have noticed at first but if she saw me and tried talking to me Ally would've freaked out. When Ally and I went to the party when we first met I sort of lied to her. I did kiss a girl and I got a little bit tipsy. I accidentally gave her my number and I forced her into letting me grab her butt. I wasn't trying to though! It was the booze talking not me.

"Grayson?" I heard a high pitched voice ask behind me. Oh god. It's her.

"Hey, Katherine right?" I asked barely able to remember her name.

"Yeah." she smiled. "Man last time I saw you our lips were connected. Wanna do that again?" she asks biting her lip.

"Stop." I said toughly. "Why are you in Hawaii?" I ask trying to change the subject as quick as possible.

"Wouldn't you like to know." she smirks before walking up to the counter to order her food. I wait until she is done ordering then I catch her attention once again.

"Well duh that's why I asked." I say rolling my eyes.

"I actually came to see Jack and Jack perform." Katherine smiles. "But I heard about Jack G getting hurt so I decided to stay here instead of going back after the performance like I had originally planned." 

"Yeah he's doing really good." I say without thinking.

"Wait you got to go and see him?" she asked letting her jaw drop to the floor. "I thought no one was allowed to go into the hospital room to see him."

"Well I'm going out with his sister so I was allowed to be there." I reply hoping maybe she would back off a little bit.

"Grayson?" the cashier yells through the restaurant holding my bag of food.
