As we walked into the studio and walked up to a desk. A woman in a tight suit was tapping her manicured nails on the desk, she looked up from her computer. "Yes can I help you?" she asked her voice very posh. "Er yes we are looking for Adam Lambert" I told her. "His fans aren't allowed in here" she said turning away. "Fans? They aren't fans they are Glamberts" Lydia said I smiled as she had heard me saying that before. "Yes that's true but we aren't his fans, im his girlfriend" I said looking at her. She peered over the top of her glasses and looked my up and down, she grabbed a phone and dialled a number. "Yes I have to ladies here wanting to see Adam she says she's his girlfriend" she said into the receiver filing her nails. She explained what I looked like to the person on the other end and put the phone down, "Head in its room 209, but he's recording so be quiet" she said snippily.
"What a total snobby bitch" Lydia said to me when were out of earshot of her. I found myself laughing "Too right, oh his fans aren't allowed here. Per-lease that bitch don't know shit" I said giggling. We walked over to the elevator, here room 209 its on the 4th floor I said as we got into the elevator and pressed the button. I wasn't a big fan of them and neither was Lydia, I hated the way your tummy lurched as it moved. The doors opened as we stepped out into a big hall with doors on one side. "These must be the recording rooms" I said as I walked up the hall Lydia behind me. "Here it is Lola 209" Lydia said pointing to a door.
We stood outside for a few minutes, I could hear Adam singing. "Oh my gosh Lydia he's singing our song!" I said my heart skipping a beat. "You have a song?" she asked her eyebrow raising. "Yeah we do Adam wrote it for me, he hasn't named it yet" I told her. "So how does it go?" she said. I started telling her the lyrics, when she stopped me. "Sing it" she urged.
"I can't someone might hear" I said blushing. "Only Adam will hear up here is empty" she said. I looked at her "he does know you can sing right?" so quizzed. I gave a nervous laugh "not exactly no. I've never sang in front of him" I smiled. She slapped me lightly on my arm, "you nut why not you have a beautiful voice" she smiled. "Fine I'll sing it to you" I said giving in. I took a deep breath and started singing
I know it gets hard sometimes
But I could never
Leave your side
No matter what I say
Cause if I wanted to go I would have gone by now,
But I really need you near me to
Keep my mind off the edge
If I wanted to leave I would have left by now,
But you're the only one that knows me
Better than I know myself
Her face lit up "Lola that was beautiful he should call it better than I know myself. " she said
Adams Point Of View:
I heard Lola in the bathroom, she was sick she keeps being sick I don't know why she tells me its because she's due on her period but I don't believe her. Im recording our song today, I still need a name for it though.. I headed into the bedroom to get dressed, Lola isn't coming she's too ill. I felt for her she was pale and sweaty but still beautiful. I kissed her and drove off wondering what was really wrong with her. I got to the studio at around half 11, Tommy was already there waiting for me. "Dude how long do you want to take is fucking freezing out here" he said to me shivering. "Sorry man Lola's not well, im really worried about her" I said my eyes looking at the floor. "Dude she will be fine, its just some sort of bug I guess" he said as we walked inside.
Olivia was sitting at the desk filing her nails as per usual. "Hey Olivia" Tommy said. "Mm hey" I said not looking at her my mind was elsewhere. "Hey boys your on the 4th floor today, room 209 Joel's already there" she said not once looking up. I didn't like her I thought she was to far up her own arse. We got into the elevator and found the room in no time, "Hey guys" Joel said as we walked in his feet propped up on the desk. "Hey how's the family" Tommy asked him. "Yeah they are good thanks how are you guys?" he replied. "Yeah good thanks hey Adam" he said. I didn't even notice he was talking to me, he elbowed me in the side "Hey dolly daydream" he said snapping me back to reality. "Hey Joel" I said as we took off our coats and headed into the studio. I pulled on the headphones as Tommy got out his guitar, I started singing the lyrics to mine and Lola's song.
Cold as ice
And more bitter than a December
Winter night
That's how I treated you
And I know that I
I sometimes tend to lose my temper
And I cross the line
Yeah that's the truth
I know it gets hard sometimes
But I could never
Leave your side
No matter what I say...
I stopped singing Im sure I heard someone else singing, their voice was beautiful like an angel. It sounded like a girl, I listened trying to work out who it was. It seemed to be coming from outside the door then it suddenly stopped...
