"Oi! Are we done with the assignment?"

I whispered urgently to the boy with messy brown hair, who looked slightly flustered.

"Yeah yeah, just give me a second, ok?"

He replied as he whipped out a strange black tablet.

"You clean up the mess while I reread the assignment aloud, cool?"

Nodding, I swiftly grabbed a strange gray vacuum from nowhere and began vacuuming up the blood from the floor, which was oozing out of the corpse in front of me.

"Seriously!" I complained, "How much blood can come out of one's head? Ew, I think there's brain matter mixed in with the blood. Next time, lets go for something more discreet, like poison or something."

As usual, he ignored me, as he tapped away at the tablet, until he began to quietly read aloud,

"Wanted, Senator Gerald Paul Luke, for perjury and abuse of power. Possible betrayal by selling classified data to the Italian mafia, and may have also been in the know of the latest assassination in Florida's governess, Lydia Stone. Is father to two children and married to Zoey Luke. Exterminate the senator with care, avoid killing others unless proven necessary."

I had finished vacuuming up the blood, which had made no noise while he was reading aloud the assignment.

"So....mission accomplished?"

I asked hopefully, my eyes begging to get out of this stink hole. He snorted,

"The fingerprints?"

He asked.

"Oh yeah, that might be a good thing to do."

I giggled nervously. I pulled out my own black tablet and tapped the screen, causing a strange light to be emitted from the device. It revealed millions of fingerprints in the room, and all of them began to slowly disappear. Sighing, he turned off his tablet and carefully made his way towards the exit.

"Do you mind remembering all the procedures for once? I'm tired of acting like your mentor and reminding you of this shit. I'm not going on missions with you anymore if you continue to act this way."

I turned the tablet off as the last of the fingerprints had disappeared,

"Aw c'mon, you know I remember all the rules, I just like having you remind me of them! Besides, you say that all the time, isn't it time you actually follow through with your words?" I pouted as I began to stow my tablet away.

"You got me, I do not intend to follow through. But so what?"

He chuckled and shook his head, he carefully looked over the room to be sure all our tracks had been covered. The large office room that had been so cheerful only minutes ago was now dark and the sight it now beheld was utterly disgusting. We had come over to have a small chat with the senator, who had admitted to all the crimes. With a laugh, he tried to pay us off, thinking he could bribe his way out. The stupid fool actually thought we had accepted the bribe and agreed not to kill him. I remembered his face as I put a bullet in his head, the look of shock and betrayal had been priceless. He had hit the bookcase, and collapsed to the ground with a loud thud, dead upon impact.

We had moved him to his chair, for theatrics, of course. The books that had fallen off the bookshelf had been carefully placed back, and we had already removed any evidence that could incriminate us from the scene.

"Good job, seems like everything is in order, you got your gun right? Good, lets go."

He walked towards the exit with I began following him closely, when my tablet vibrated softly. I immediately grabbed my tablet and held it out, allowing an image of a man's silhouette to appear.

"Sir."

I replied stiffly, recognizing the silhouette of the person.

"No. 7 and No. 13, what is the status of your mission?"

"We have successfully taken out the Senator, no other  complications to report."

Was his dry response.

"Then I want you back at headquarters. I'm afraid that that room has been breached and we are unable to contact any of our agents stationed there, report to me so you can receive your orders on how to proceed."

And then the image disappeared, and the tablet automatically turned off.

"Looks like we got some more work to do before we can have some actual fun, eh?"

He asked slyly, knowing how much I loved a good fight. Smiling widely, I eagerly reached for the door handle and opened it, turning around with an elated look in my cold black eyes,

"What are you talking about, this is going to be fun, we've never had a breach. Meaning we can kill as much as we like!"

Frowning, he looked down at his pants, which had been pure white but were now stained with a brilliant crimson red,

"Guess I can't complain, I'm already dirty."

He then left the room, and I followed in suit, while the door closed silently, though neither of us had laid a finger on it.
