This day was the day I've been waiting for my whole life, The one moment I been preparing myself. I walked in this room which is really elegant and extremely huge. We were separated the ladies on one side and the gentleman in here. This was really obscure, The way they would separate us I believe it was a bit too much I mean shouldn't we be able to talk for a bit before they drop the news on us? My parents were no where to be seen, I honestly didn't care if they were their or not. I mean their gonna meet the girl I'm going to marry, she's going to be their daughter in law. I been ready for this I am interesting in finding out who's going to be mine but honestly I don't want this to be a big deal. We began to settle down in our seats which were really comfortable by the way, the white silk on the chairs made them very soft and every time I would run my hand down it used to remind me when I was young and I had my little sister, how her dresses wear all silk because she was special she was the princess it was only me and my 2 brothers Liam and mason, and our sister Priscila. I remember so much how she was, Her tiny little hand that wrapped around my finger. Mr. Roy was in charge of presenting our matches. We walked to the ladie side, their was a variety of girls blondes, brunettes, red heads, tall, short, slim. I would be very lucky to be in one of their life's I thought. The speech started,
" Hello ladies and gentlemen." Mr. Roy announced
I started to daze off, I started examining all the ladies and it really hit me that one of them is going to make me very happy, have my kids and grow old together. Imagining all this made me realize that this is very important and I was very nervous now. Spending my whole life with someone sounded very good, and I was looking forward to that.
" I will indicate you on who's your match." Mr. Roy said sounding very excited
Their was a very strange looks on everyone's faces I couldn't tell what my face looked like if I was surprised nervous or excited, But I was certainly scared now. Mr. Roy started,
"Melissa Riccardo and Daniel Bethan "
"Karla Aristo Rena And James storm "
"Valerie Ferreira and Michael robin"
"Audrey Tremblay and Maximillian Poirier "
They said my name, I stood up and went up their as if I was about to claim my prize. I took a very sharp look at her and she was so beautiful, her skin glowed and her face had like innocent face that was so cute. I never pictured anyone to be my wife, I never thought on how she would look like but now I can see why because I couldn't have pictured her because she was so good I couldn't have imagined.
We went up their and look at each other, My face didn't want to turn because I was seeing her pretty face. I didn't have a clue on what was going on, The people inside the room didn't matter this time I felt like it was just us too. I never believed in love at first sight, that's why I didn't like this idea of someone choosing my life, but right now I can't believe I'm thinking this but I guess love at first sight is true. They made us go with our match and go have dinner, I began to walk to her table. she was sitting their so perfectly her graceful smile, and her face seemed to glow.
I pulled her chair out, as she stood I saw her figure it she was very hot, as we started to head to the little dining room that was reserved for us , I tried to hold her hand so she could see that I cared and that I wanted to try to get along so our lives together would work out. Audrey was walking her hands against her sides I extended my arm and carefully clasped it to mine. Her hand was as oft as silk and they were small compared to mine.
We sat down and started to talk about ourselves she began and as she was speeking I blacked out and I just kept on looking at her so graceful. I expressed myself by saying, "well I really enjoy working out and boxing competing is one of my greatest passion, but winning is even better. Also when I become older I want to be a FBI or something in that field because it seems so interesting when you catch the bad guys and become a hero. I want to be a Hero for anyone. I want to be a hero for u."
I felt as if she understood me well as if I could tell her my whole life story, If I could let her explore my heart and my soul.
"Audrey I think you know what I mean It's either you fall in love with me or you stay single forever and you become a forgotten." I said carefully
"I mean how could I not be attracted to you , you sound like a very good future husband." She said
" I am very pleased to hear that." I replied in a relief tone
Audrey was talking about how much her parents would like me , because I'm a good person. So she said I shall meet them right away so, we started to get ready to go back to the other room.
As we walked back I could sense that she was a bit better with confidence then when we started and that pleased me.
" Hello parents, and Mr. Roy ." Audrey said happily
They stared at Audrey directly and then Mr. Roy spoke
"We have made a mistake you're supposed to be with Maximillian Poirier."
I looked at my parents, Mr. Roy and ended with Maximillian and he looked so displeased and angry.
I looked like someone just shot a bullet through me.
