We load the cars the next morning after breakfast. We all took our own cars and as I was about to close the truck door someone jumps in.
"Charlotte?!" I scream.
"Hey sister!" She says cheerfully.
"What in the world are you doing here? I'm leaving," I say slowly.
Charlotte nods, "I know. I just needed one last hug before my best friend leaves..."
I smile and took a deep breath through my nose. Leaning in and gave her a tight long hug.
Tears roll down my face as she got out of the car and waves goodbye when I start to pull out after my family.
I try to turn on the radio and forget what happened. Blaring it I began to feel better and sing out loud to the song Kick the Dust Up by Luke Bryan.
Just to tell you guys I have random tastes to music, I love Country, Pop, Classic Rock. It varies. Whatever mood I am in I usually turn on a station, but metal and heavy metal is not my type of music. I don't know why but it scares me.

After a few hour drive we're finally in Beacon Hills. Its a small town, I like it. We pull up in the driveway to our new house and I in awe! It's a somewhat big house, two rooms have balconies so I'm calling dibs on the big one.
I run out of my truck and grab a few bags before heading into the open door looking upstairs for the biggest room before Josh comes and gets it.
"Dibs!!" I shout once I found the big bedroom with a balcony. Technically, it isn't a big room, think of a regular sized bedroom and a bathroom together. That's how big it is.
"I don't care, a room is a room Tori," Josh huffs as he walks into the room next to mine.
I shrug, "True...but I never had a big room in my whole life and this was my chance to get one. Here I am. In my dream home."
He looks and me and just turns away back into his new room.
Later that night, I got done with unloading my stuff although there is still a box or three that still needs be unloaded. I went through one of my suitcases that had my clothes in it and pull out grey sweats and and black t-shirt along with a zip up sweatshirt.
Walking downstairs I pull my Nike running shoes. "I'm heading out for a run, if mom and dad are looking for me, tell them I'd be back in an hour,"
"Will do." He barely says since he's on his phone.
I roll my eyes and walk out the door.
It started to get dark out three hours later, and I was thinking about heading back. I turn around and jog my way back to the house.
Within a few minute, there was a noise in the trees. Thinking it was just a deer or a person, I continue to walk. The noise grew louder the next thing I know, I was in a sprint.
The sound of a growl got closer until something knocks me down and that's when everything went dark.
I woke up by the sound of sticks braking and leaves crunching. Alarmed, I jolted up. I wasn't on the sidewalk anymore, I was in the woods.
"Hel-" I try to stand up but a strong pierce of pain shot through my side, my hand was covered in blood as I lifted up my sweatshirt and shirt. Seeing a bite mark I scream. What happened to me?
"HELP!" I yell. I yelled for help a bunch of times while I laid on my back and tried to sit up. No one has come to my rescue. Oh, what's the use? No one won't come! I'm in the woods for god sake and who knows how far away I am from the road.
Then I heard the sound of snapping sticks and crunching leaves again. I looked around terrified and saw a man standing between the trees staring at me. "Help me," I beg.
"I did, I brought you here," The man sayd.
"Why? Who are you?" I squint my eyes to see more better.
The guy walks towards me and holds out his hand to pull me up. "So no one will see you, and the name is Derek Hale, and you are? I mostly recognize every face in this town but I do not recognize yours,"
"Tori Smith, nice to meet you. I just moved here today." I introduce myself as Derek pulls my arm around his neck. "What happened to me?"
Derek keeps his eyes forward as he begins walking me somewhere. "I'll explain later,"
"Where are we going?" I ask with my hand on my open wound.
"My place, you need to get patched up," He replies, his eyes still looking forward.
"What time is it?" I ask.
"Wow, you do ask a lot of questions," He groans.
I roll my eyes, "Well, of course, wouldn't you if you only remember so little and then wound up in the woods with a stranger and then being brought to his house?"
He shrugs as we, well he, continues to his house. I was tempted to ask another question but I knew I would annoy him more. Derek opens the door to his house that was located in the woods and brought me inside.
"Take off your shirt," Derek says when he sat me down on the kitchen chair.
I furrow my eyebrows together. "Excuse me?"
"Tori, do you want me to treat your wound or what?"
I nod.
"Then take off your shirt and I clean it, I'm not a pedophile so don't panic," He replies as I take off my shirt.
Derek cleans the blood off of my skin and cleans the wound so it won't get infected then he places a giant gauze pad on it and taped it. "You were bit,"
"No, really? I didn't notice," I respond in a sarcastic tone.
He told me that I was bit by some coyote. I stood up. I was unsure that this was a coyote and I am positive that was no coyote!! I jump when my phone buzzes. "Shit, I need to get home! Thanks for the help, Derek. See you around?"
"Guarantee we will. Bye, Tori." He held up his hand.
I walk to the door and ran through the woods.
I'm going to get killed by my parents.

Hey guys I am back! So sorry for not updating for a month, 😔 I haven't had enough free time to write - well type- The stories because of school work and I don't have Internet at home. FRONTIER SUCKS.
So, Tori had already met Derek! Notice this would be one of the books that would have all cast (well most) members from past seasons too, so this won't be with just the current cast. In the next chapter, Tori starts her first day of school!
