"Made Up Minds"

Moments later Chresanto and his mother pulled up at the mall. "Boy what are we doing here" his mother questioned sitting in the passenger seat. "Today is your day. I decided to take you out today" Chresanto said smiling at his mom. "There better not be a catch to this" his mother said glancing at him. "No catch. I see how hard you work and i feel like you need a day out" Chresanto said parking the car. "Aw thats very thoughtful of you son" his mother responded giving him a hug. The two got out of the car and headed inside the mall. For the whole day Chresanto treated his mother to a nice shopping spree. He spent the whole entire day pampering and spoiling his mother. Around 6:30pm Chresanto and his mother finally left the mall. "Son i enjoyed this day out. Thanks baby" his mother said giving him a kiss on the cheek. "No problem. You're my mom. You should know i will go out of the way for you" Chresanto replied as he drove out of the parking lot. "You know i got to be somewhere tomorrow morning right. So i will be gone before you wake up for school so make sure you set an alarm to wake yourself up" his mother said glancing at him. "Yes ma'am" he said in a low tone. "i will be back home around 7:00pm and dont be having no fast ass girls in my house either while im gone" his mother respinded in a serious tone. "Im not. Im going to Myles house after school so its all good" Chresanto replied laughing. "Be good and dont get into any trouble" his mother said putting on a little smile. Chresanto pulled in the driveway of their home and he rushed to get out of the car. "You come right back here. Help me with these bags boy" his mother said laughing. "No one told you to buy the whole mall" Chresanto joked as he went back to help his mother with the bags. Chresanto helped his mother get her bags out of the car and he sat them in her room. He went towards his room and noticed he left his phone at home this morning. He looked at his phone and saw he had 3 missed calls from Alexis. He quickly dialed her number hoping she would pick up the phone. "Hello" Alexis said answering the phone. "Yea i just got back home and saw that you've called me. Whats up" Chresanto replied. "Do you mind if i come over for a few. I really need to talk to you and get some things off my chest" Alexis stuttered. "Uh no come right over" Chresanto said in a confused tone. "Im on my way" Alexis said back as she hung up. "Chresanto im going to bed early tonight. If you need me i'll be in my room" his mother said from the other room. "Yes ma'am" Chresanto replied. Moments later he heard a knock on the front door. He rushed to the front door looking throught the peep hole, he saw that it was Alexis. He quickly unlocked the door and opened it. He grabbed her hand and led her to his bedroom. "Chres we need to talk" Alexis said sitting on his bed. "Whats up" Chresanto replied sitting next to her. "Today after school i broke up with Kevin. I basically told him i wanted to be with you and he kinda got mad and..." Alexis said looking down as tears filled her eys. "And what" Chresanto said staring deeply at her. "He raped me" Alexis said bursting out crying. Chresanto didnt know what to think or say. "Im so sorry Alexis" Chresanto said in a shocked tone wraping her in his arms. "Chres i want to be with you. You're the only one i have. I need you" Alexis replied hugging him tightly. "Its okay you're safe with me. You dont have to worry about a thing anymore as long as you have me. I promise love" Chresanto kissing her on the forehead. "Thank you for being here for me" Alexis said looking up at him. "No problem bae" Chresanto replied lookling down at her. "I guess i better get home now" Alexis said getting up from the bed. "You need me to walk you home" Chresanto replied. "You can walk me halfway like always" Alexis said smiling. "Why wont you just let me walk you all the way home? You think im going to stalk you or something" Chresanto questioned. "Maybe" Alexis joked. "Nah im im foreal. You dont have to worry about me putting you in harms way" Chresanto said in a serious tone. "Okay big head you can walk me all the way this time" Alexis said giving him a kiss. Alexis thought it would  okay for Chresanto to walk her all the way since her dad was at work and he doesnt get off til 10pm. The two walked out of the room and walked out of the front door. The two walked hand in hand down the street. "Im so glad to finally call you mine" Alexis spoke out. "Oh really" Chresanto said smiling at her. "Yes. You just dont find good guys like you anymore. Your mom is real lucky to have you as a son" Alexis replied. "Im pretty sure your parents are lucky to have you as a daughter" Chresanto said smiling. Alexis didnt say nothing back. The two walked in silence the rest of the way. "Well this is my house" Alexis said pointing at her white 2 story home as the two walked on the front porch. She didnt she her fathers car in the driveway and he doesnt park in their garage so she knew she was safe. "Well i love you" Chresanto said wrapping his arms around his waist. "I love you too baby, now give me some suga" Alexis said laughing giving Chresanto a kiss as she stood on her tippy toes. Chresanto waited for Alexis to go inside then he walked back home. Alexis walked in the house locking the foor behind her turning on the living room light. She turned around and saw her father sitting on the couch. "Oh hey dad" Alexis stuttered nervously. "Who was that boy you were outside with" her father questioned. "He's a friend" Alexis lied. "Seems to me like he's more than a friend. I saw your fast ass kiss him" Her father said getting up from the couch. "So! Im 16 years old and i dont have to explain myself to you. You dont let me hang out with my friends and you dont let me go any damn where. Every since mom died you've been acting like a fucking asshole." Alexis said raising her voice. "Listen here i wont tolerate you cussing at me. Im your father. I tell you what to fucking do. And i dont want you hanging with that boy again. You here me" her father said getting into Alexis face. "Nope! Im tired of you telling me what to do. Im going to continue seeing Chres" Alexis replied talking back. Alexis father jacked her up and slammed her onto a wall. "I said i dont want you seeing him anymore. YOU UNDERSTAND ME" her father said yelling pointing his finger in her face. Alexis heart started pounding. "NO!!" Alexis screamed fighting back. Alexis pushed her father and tried to run up the stairs. Her father grabbed Alexis foot causing her to fall on the hard wooden staircase. "Ahh" Alexis screamed holding her thigh. Her father walked up the stairs looking down at her and said. "I dont want you seeing him anymore and thats final" he spoke as he kept walking up the stairs making his way to his bedroom. Alexis continued to hold her thigh. Her thigh was in pain. She limped towards the kitchen to get some ice" She got her an ice pack and placed it on her thigh. She made her way up the stairs continuing to limp. She finally made it to her room and flopped on her bed. She took off her clothes and put on her night clothes. As she was putting on her night clothes she saw a big black bruise on her thigh. The bruise looked horrible, especially on Alexis thigh since she was light skinned. Alexis got in her bed and went staight to sleep.
