Chresanto finally made it to Myles house. He rung the doorbell to find Myles mother answer the door. "Hello Chresanto. Myles and the rest of the boys are in the back. Feel free to make yourself at home" Myles mother loud. "Yes ma'am" Chresanto replied. "Aye bro whats up" Myles said giving Chresanto some dap. "Whats up yall" Chresanto said back. "Im suprised your mama let you walk the streets this late" Rayan said looking at Chresanto. "I am too bro, but i dont think im going to walk back though cause i heard screaming on my way here and that scared the shit out of me" Chresanto said in a serious tone. "Damn bro. I dont blame you. But thank god we dont have to go to school tomorrow since its Saturday" Myles blurted. "True" Rayan agreed. "Aye bro lets play 2k13" Chresanto said sitting on the bed. "Alright" Myles said turning on the game. Myles and Chresanto played each other in 2k13 while Craig and Rayan just watched them. "Yall niggas suck" Rayan called out laughing. "Bullshit. Nigga i play better then you" Chresanto laughed. "Aye are yall going to Jacob's part tomorrow night" Craig said. "Hell yea" Rayan replied. "You already know im going to be in that thang" Myles cheered. "Aye what about you Chres" Rayan questioned. "Man i dont even know" Chresanto answered. "Damn bro you been acting different lately. Are you cool" Rayan asked. "Im good" Chresanto responded. "Dont seem like it" Craig mumbled. "Aye Myles do you think you moms will let me kick it here for the night" Chresanto loud. "Yea. She dont care" Myles replied. Chresanto pulled out his phone and dialed his mother's number. "Hello" his mother answered. "Aye ma is it okay if i crash here at Myles house tonight" Chresanto asked. "Sure son, But be good" His mother replied. "Yes ma'am" He responded. "Goodnight and i love you" She said. "I love you too mom" Chresanto said in relief as he hung up. "My ma said it was cool if i stay here" Chresanto said looking at Myles. "Bro you lucky you left your bag here from last time. My mom washed your clothes from last time you came over and she told me to put them up for you when you come over the next time" Myles said looking at Chresanto. "Well yall its time for me to head home" Rayan said yawning. "Alright bro" Myles replied back. "See yall tomorrow night at Jacob's party" Rayan spoke as he walked out the front door. "Aye bro im about to hop in the shower" Chresanto said. "Go ahead bro" Myles replied. Chresanto got into the shower leaving Myles and Craig behind in the room. "Aye bro you know whats been up with Chres lately" Craig whispered. "Nah. But all i know is that he's been acting different lately" Myles whispered back. "Right" Craig replied. Moments late Chresanto got out of the shower and made him a little pallet on the floor in Myles room. "Goodnight bros" Chresanto yawned. "Bro its only 11:00" Craig replied. "So. Im tired" Chresanto said back. Usually when Chresanto, Craig, and Myles were together they would usually stay up late, play video games, call up some girls, and eat junk food but tonight was totally different. Since Chresanto went to sleep early Craig and Myles decided to go to sleep early as well.

THE NEXT DAY:

Around 10:00am Chresanto was the first one up. Instead of waiting for everyone to get up, he decided to freshen up, eat breakfast, and watch a little TV. Chresanto always felt like he were at home when he went to Myles house. Moments later Myles and Craig woke up. "Damn bro you up early as hell" Myles said rubbing his eyes. "Yeaa" Chresanto replied back. While Myles and Craig got ready Chresanto just sat in the living room watching TV. Moments later he got a phone call from Jacob. "Hello" Chresanto said answering his phone. "Aye bro where you at" Jacob replied. "Im at Myles house. Why" Chresanto responded. "Well im about to come by there and pick yall up. I need help setting up for the party tonight" Jacob said. "Alright" Chresanto responded as he hung up. "Aye yall Jacob is on the way to pick us up" Chresanto hollered. "Alright cool" Craig replied. A couple of minutes later the boys heard a horn outside, it was Jacob. The boys rushed out of the door and headed for the car. "Aye nigga why you didnt come to school yesterday" Chresanto blurted as he got inside the vehicle. "I didnt want to keep hearing them teachers talk about rules and shit" Jacob called out as he drove off. "Im suprised Ms. Teresa let you have this party tonight" Myles said. "She dont even know im having it. She went to Vegas with my aunts" Jacob replied. "Oh" Myles responded. They pulled up in Jacob's driveway and got out of the car. "Aye yall help me get this stuff for the party out of the trunk" Jacob called out. The boys helped unload the trunk and brung every thing inside the house. For the rest of the day, the four boys spent their time setting up for the party tonight. "Aye is Ray coming tonight" Craig questioned. "Nah. he got to babysit tonight" Jacob laughed. "Damn thats messed up" Myles grinned. "I know right. I heard there were going to be a lot of girls coming and yall already know Ray loves him some girls" Craig blurted. The guys finished setting up for the party. Next thing you know guest start showing up. "Craig do me a favor and greet people as they come in" Jacob spoke out. "Hell no nigga. They better bring they asses up in here. Shit im not a got damn bouncer" Craig replied. "Chill out nigga" Chresanto laughed. The house began to fill quicky with people. "Aye yall im going to sit outside on the porch and get some fresh air" Chresanto sighed. Chresanto went outside and sat on the porch in a chair with his head hung down. "Chresato" A girl called out taking a seat beside him. "Whats up" Chresanto replied looking up at the girl noticing it was Alexis. "What are you doing here" Chresanto asked. "Um i heard there was going to be a party here so i decided to show up" Alexis replied. "Oh thats whats up" Chresanto responded staring into Alexis brown eyes. "Anyways what are you doing out so late" Alexis said giving Chresanto a little nudge. "Im grown shawty" Chresanto said smiling at Alexis. "Aw Chresanto..your parents dont care that you're out this late" Alexis said pinching his cheek. "My ma does, other then jesus im the only one she has plus my pops passed away last year" Chresanto said looking away. "Im so sorry, i didnt know" Alexis responded grabbing his hand. "Its cool" Chresanto replied trying to fight back his tears. Chresanto and Alexis spent their time at the party outside sitting on the porch talking to each other. "Ugh. I guess i better get home, its getting pretty late" Alexis spoke out getting up from the chair. "You got a ride home" Chresanto responded getting up from his chair as well. "Nope. But its alright cause i live just a few blocks from here so i can walk home" Alexis said making her way down the steps. "I can ask my bro to let me borrow his car to take you home" Chresanto stuttered. "Its cool i'll just walk home" Alexis responded. "You want me to walk with you" Chresanto asked. "You can walk me halfway" Alexis smiled. The two walked down the street talking to each other. "Is there any other way i can keep in contact with you other then facebook" Chresanto asked smiling at her as he took his phone out of his pocket. "Why yes there is" Alexis replied smiling back at him as she grabbed his phone out of his hand putting her number in his phone. "Well we're here" Alexis smiled handing Chresanto his phone back. "Wait i live down that street" Chresanto said pointing straight ahead. "We're not that far from each other but thanks for walking me home though" Alexis said hugging him "You're welcome" Chresanto replied hugging her back. Chresanto watched as she turned the corner and he headed towards his house. Alexis ran towards her backyard. She grabbed the ladder that was lying flat on the ground and she placed it quietly against her house. She slowly climbed the ladder and slid in her bedroom window. She quietly closed her window shut and turned on her lamp that sat on her night stand. She turned around and found her father sitting in the corner of her room in a chair. "Oh god" Alexis said as she jumped. "Where were you" her father said calmly. "Uh" Alexis said shaking. "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU" her father replied raising his voice as he got out of the chair. "I went out okay" Alexis replied back raising her voice. Her father raised his hand and slapped Alexis across the face. "You fast little bitch. sneaking out of the house and shit. i should send your ass off to foster care. every since your mother died you've been acting like a fucking whore and a brat" her father yelled. "Send me to foster care then, i dont care" Alexis hollered back as tears filled her eyes. "Listen here dont you talk back to me. this is my got damn house and i wont tolerate you talking back" He responded slapping her again and then he walked out of her room. Alexis was left standing there in tears. Her father abused her, her mother was dead, and she didnt have no one. Alexis closed her bedroom door and locked it. She could still feel the sting on her face from the slaps. She got dressed for bed, turned off her lamp, and laid in her bed staring at the ceiling. All Alexis could do was cry and pray. She cried and cried until she fell asleep.
