The song(s) that go/goes with this chapter: 'Count On Me' by Bruno Mars

I kinda wanna try this thing where a song goes with a chapter, I might be horrible at this, but bare with me.

"Beep, beep, beep!" the alarm clock on Violet's nightstand buzzed out. Stirring from her slumber, the girl carelessly draped her arm out to press the snooze button, 5 more minute's were all she wanted. She groaned loudly, a frown etched on her lips, just banged her fist on the clock, causing it to go into a snooze. A more softer smile grew gradually on the teen's face, she could finally fall asleep once again, this time it would be nice and pe---

"VIOLET JACKSON." Her mom started to yell from downstairs. "IF YOU DONT GET DOWN THESE STAIRS YOU'LL MISS THE BUS AND YOU WONT HAVE BREAKFAST."

Violet's P.O.V

I let out a even louder groan then before when I heard my mom's scolding yell. The last thing on my mind was getting up and heading off to school. You'd be a mad man if you thought difrently. Though today shouldn't be bad, I mean, Wally will be at school hopefully.

Who is Wally? He's my one and only best friend, we've know eachother for quite sometime, ever since we were in the and box really. You'd swear he was a charmer by his looks, but trust me, Wally West is anything, but, smooth. He's just a good time overall if you'd want me to describe him.

"Cominggg!" I called back after a moment or two of mumbling, it wasn't anything bad...Maybe.

Still feeling quite sluggish, I pulled myself out of bed and dragged my feet towards my dresser that was positioned nicely on a wall. I slid a dresser open and grabbed out a plain, white tank top and my favorite black and white  hoodie. A small smile etched my face as I caught a glimpse of the hoodie, it was something that had some sentimental value. Wally had got it as a birthday present for me, it was so thoughtful of him. Happily, I bent down in search of some skinny jeans to wear aswell. I started with brushing out my hair, I mean, my hair is like everything to me. Too tired to care or walk down stairs, I lazily threw on my clothing choices and headed down stairs for breakfast.

"Morning Sweety!" I heard a cheerful voice greet me, aswell as a warming smile. "Morning mom!" I replied in the exact cheerful my mother was in.

"I left your breakfast on the island, just help yourself to it. Oh! There is also some orange juice in the fridge, you can help yourself to that too!"

She was once again, starting to babble on about how I needed to remember to feed the dogs, do my homework and chores. My mothers done this so many times in the morning, it's something you'd get used to in no time. I interrupted my mom, which lead to her give her famous 'what?' face, I indicated that it was time for her to head to work before she gets late. An 'o' was forming upon her lips as she nodded, quickly making her way towards me, she planted a kiss on my cheek. A small smile etched my lips like before, I happily returned the cheek kiss, mouthing a goodbye. My mother said her's aloud though, with that last word, she was heading out the door.

Unmotivated, I made my way towards the kitchens island, my eyes were greet with a plate that sat upon a granite counter top. That smile I was talking about earlier? Yeah. That got wider. I was practically thrilled at the fact that my mom had made me waffles with a side of bacon, you could ask anyone! Waffles were the best thing going in my eyes!

I quickly plopped into the chair and began to eat a waffle, humming a gum tune from a commercial, that short song was annoying, yet so catchy.

After a moment or so, I finished breakfast, just in time to! Or so I thought. I checked the time finally, 2/3 of bacon was still hanging flimsily from my mouth.  '7:27' my phone screen read  as I pressed the home button, cutting it on. My eyes widened and the piece of bacon fell from my mouth, I darted up and went on a search for my backpack. If I missed the bus today, I would totally regret it! I just know it! Even if I didn't, my parents would make sure that...
