"Thea?"

The voice is so warm and I want to reach towards it, but I'm underwater, and it's dark. Every thing is numb.

"Thea... little mouse..."

Sam? What is he doing here? Is he underwater with me?

"I'm so sorry, darling."

No. He's above the water. I can see the light that is shining up there. I can feel the warmth radiating from it.

"I know it hurts, baby. I'll make it stop."

What? Nothing hurts. I just want to swim to you.

"Drink."

Drink what?

The sea turns red. My entire body warms up and the numbness lifts.

I'm suddenly staring up at Sam with blurry eyes. He's staring down at me. A teardrop drops from his eye and on to his cheek.

He smiles and the sight is so sad. I continue to drink from his wrist, which is at my mouth.

"There you go baby. Let me see those pretty eyes of yours." He smiles and I stop drinking to attempt to tell him that his eyes are prettier than mine. He shakes his head, "Drink just a little more, darling. You need as much as much as you can stomach."

As I can stomach? This tastes like the best enchilada I've ever had.

It's kind of spicy but still really good. I'm pretty sure that his blood is a drug.

Why am I drinking his blood anyway? Isn't this weird?

"Thea!" Jake's voice catches my attention. My eyes find him and he's being held back by Dad and Lisa. They're all crying. His eyes meet mine and his voice cracks as he shouts, "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!"

A gurgled laugh comes from me and Sam hisses, "Don't laugh while drinking, you'll choke."

I swallow one more mouth full and then Sam removes his wrist from my mouth.

"I brought her some more clothes." Amp is suddenly next to me, holding a pile of clothes, "Lisa and I can clean her up with some baby wipes on the way to your home."

Sam nods and looks down at me. He's not crying anymore but his eyes are still red, "Little mouse, you need to sleep now."

My eyes find Jake and I try to stretch my hand toward him. He breaks away from Dad and Lisa and drops to his knees next to me. He picks my hand up and I smile at him. Somehow, I choke out, "Weirdo."

His eyes tear up all over again and he begins to cry like a baby. Sam stands up with me in his arms. His Galaxy eyes meet mine and he smiles softly, "Sleep, baby girl. It'll be better after you wake up."

With a sigh, my head lolls on to his shoulder. He's cold but I don't mind. Closing my eyes, I inhale the smell of him and I'm out like a light.

When I wake up, I'm in a huge bed. I'm enveloped by blankets and I'm really warm.

I sit up. The room is huge but kind of bare. It's basically the huge bed, the nightstand, a lamp, the fire place that is in front of the bed, a dresser, and the huge doors.
