"So you know the story of Rosa Parks and the bus boycott?" I questioned.
"Yes Erica, I do."
"Ok so maybe we could do something like that. A boycott called the S bucks Boycott. Ya know?" I exclaimed .
"Um Erica, do u actully think this will work?" She asked.
" I have no idea but we should at least try "
"Hmmm ok" She said uncertainly.
"GIRLS COME HERE!" Mom yelled
We raced inside.
"I need to drive you home, Gia."
"Ok." Gia said.
" No wait if her mom said yes could Gia sleep over?" I asked. I crossed my fingers behind my back.
Gia smiled at my mom.
" I don't see why not. You guys just have to sleep downstairs and stay very quiet -"
"Yay!" We interrupted, running for the phone.
*riiing riiing riiing* went the phone.
"Hello? "Gia's dad answered.
"Can I sleep over Erica's house?"
" you don't have pajamas."
"Erica has extras."
"You don't have a toothbrush"
"Erica has one"
" ok il pick you up at 10:30. Have fun." He said.
"Bye love you." Said Gia. " that was easy." Gia said, placing down the phone. We ran up to my room closing the door behind us.
" so here's the plan. We make fliers that explain the pros of Starbucks. It has to totally convince them. Well give them fliers at downtown Raleigh." I explained.
"Hmmm ok, go on."
"So to get the folks to dislike Pie Shoppe, we need to hire someone to make a bad reputation. My next door neighbor, I can pay him to work there. My mom recently gave me my monthly allowance of $20. She's pretty generous latley. "
"Yeah my brothers looking for a new job." Gia stated.
" But here's the catch. They have to be terrible workers. They treat the costumes rudely, the serve them without care, and other things you know."
"Yeah, yeah. This all seems pretty complicated." Gia said.
" well we have to try anything to get Starbucks back."
