Broken Promises

Party!

I woke up to Luke not being near me. I sighed then looked at the clock. It read 9:37 am. My back went back on the bed and I groaned.

"Why this early?" I rub my temples then get up anyways.

I hear music playing in the bathroom followed by Ash's loud singing. To me it was hilarious but to him he thought differently. So I quietly laughed and walk downstairs. Barks and laughter came from outside in the back yard. I walk out there and Luke and puppy Ash is playing around with each other on the grass. It was adorable! Luke's back was turned to me but Ash was facing Luke so he saw me through Luke's legs. He barks happily and runs towards me through the gap in Luke's legs. Luke starts to freak out thinking that he's running away but then turns around to see me. I pick up Ash and laugh.

"He would never run away. Unless I'm gone for a long time Luke." I say as ash licks my cheek.

My giggles pour out of my mouth. It tickles! Out of nowhere Luke comes over and picks me up while he runs to my room with me in his arms. He throws us on the bed and lays on top of me. He's really heavy! Luke just stays laying on top of me like nothing's going on.

"Luke!" I said.

"Yes Raven?" He says sweetly.

"Please get off of me! Your heavy!" I try and push him off but fails miserably.

"Not until you say Luke's my one and only!" He smirks.

"Fine! Luke's my one and only! Please get off..." I give him the puppy eyes and he awes.

"Fine..." He gets up then pulls me up with him. We were really close to each other.

"I still need to pack.." We were just staring into each other's eyes. It felt.. Good..

We broke from our enchantment and I started to pack. I grab my duffle bag/suitcase and put my clothes in it.

"Hey Luke how long are we going to be there at the cabin?" I turn around to ask him and he's staring at my butt. "Luke?"

"Oh! Uh, a week?" He shrugs his shoulders then goes to play with Ash again.

By the time I'm finished packing I realize I haven't even gotten out of my Pjs! I groan then quickly gather an outfit and slowly start to undress myself. I put on the clothes and then my shoes.

A shine came into my vision, I looked down and there's my two necklaces Luke bought me last night. I quickly put those on and grab my bag and run downstairs. When I get down there, there was honking going on outside. Luke was still outside with my puppy playing with him. My groaning of frustration filled the whole house. I took my bag and walked to Michael's car.

I look inside and there was Calum, Michael, Ashton, and Ash in the backseat.

"Where's Luke?" Calum asked while looking at me.

"Right here!" He said kissing my cheek from behind.

"Good now get your lovey dovey butts in the car!!!!!" Ash said loudly.We quickly hopped on the car and made out way to the cabin.

The oak wood cabin was beautiful. It looked it was carved delicately and precisely. String lights hung from the eves with care. The steamed windows announced that there was heat inside the house along with the billowing of black smoke from the chimney.

I walked to the trunk of the car, pulling my stuff out once Ash pulled it open.

"Do you need some help?" Luke asked, walking towards the trunk.

"No, I got it thanks" I smiled and hauled my stuff up to the front door.
As soon as I walked into the spacious log cabin, the aroma of burning wood and vanilla invaded my nose. The warmth wrapped around me like a blanket that if I were to Kay on the sofa I'd have fallen asleep instantly.

"Nice eh?" Luke smirked as we walked in and headed for the stairs.

"It's very nice. I wish I had a cabin like this. It's so cozy" I smiled, grabbing my luggage and pulling it behind me. I pulled it up the stairs and into one of the many rooms  in the long hallway.

"Ravy?" Ash called as I heard him walking along the corridor. "In here, Ashes! This one has a bunk bed!" I shouted excitedly.

"OOh a mini fridge and computer desk as well. "We're gonna have the best time" Ash raved with a smile across his ivory face.

"Anyone wanna help get the fire wood?" Someone shouted. "Thanks for offering!" The voice shouted again laced with sarcasm.

"We better get down there and help since we're going to be be here for awhile" I suggested.

"Last one there has too cook!" ash laughed as we raced out of the room and down the stairs to see a strange unannounced guest.
