Broken Promises

Cabin time!

Recap of last chapter:
"Anyone wanna help get the fire wood?" Someone shouted. "Thanks for offering!" The voice shouted again laced with sarcasm.

"We better get down there and help since we're going to be be here for awhile" I suggested.

"Last one there has too cook!" ash laughed as we raced out of the room and down the stairs to see a strange unannounced guest.

Who is this person? From everyone's reactions, I'm guessing they didn't know her either. The girl walks up to Calum and hugs him then does the same thing for everyone of them except for Luke. She gives Luke a glare then walks over to Michael slowly as she glares at me even harder. I shrug my shoulders and try to ignore her rudeness.

"Okay, not that I don't like new people but who are you? Why are you in my cabin?" Michael says as he slowly takes a few steps backwards trying to get away from this mysterious stranger.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I'm Mary." She holds her hand out for Michael to shake.

Michael doesn't shake her hand because be a more freaked out by the fact that there's a random girl in his cabin. Mary puts her hand back down and then looks at everyone awkwardly.

"Well I was your families old friend and they said I could stay in here for as long as I wanted. But I had no idea you and your friends were also gonna be here." Mary says as she tries to explain herself.

"Okay then.. I guess you can stay. By the way this is Luke, Calum, Ashton, Ash, and Raven." Michael points to each one of us as he introduces us.

She waves at all of us but then winks at Luke then glares at me. I don't know what her problem is. One minute she's glaring at Luke the next she's winking at him. I could tell Luke was getting uncomfortable so I turn around to face him and gives him a hug. My arms wrap around his waist as I lay my head on his chest. He lets out a long breath then leans down to my ear.

"She is really freaky." He whispers in my ear then kisses me on the cheek and forehead to show the girl he's spoken for.

I hear her let out a loud sigh then her walking out the front door and slamming it. I let out a small laugh then hides my face in Luke's chest. The boys just stare at me then slowly everyone is laughing with me.

"Okay. Why don't we get a fire going? Then we can all decide on what to do next. Luke come help me with the fire." Michael asks Luke then I feel the warmth I once had leave me.

I pout then I feel a head lay on my shoulder.

"You and him are so freaking cute Raven!" Ash said.

My eyes wonder all over the cabin and finally notices all the decor in the room. There was family pictures all over the walls. One of my favorite ones was a picture with Michael, I'm guessing, and his mother. This is when Michael was a baby, so literal fetus Michael. His mother had her arms around around Michael gazing lovingly down at him as he looks up at the person taking the photo with a toothless smile that went from ear to ear. It was a good picture and it was super cute. Ash then pointed out a picture with all the boys in it. They all had their arms around each other and smiling cheerfully at the camera. There was a lot of people around them but it looked like they had a lot of fun that day.
