Candor Or Dauntless

Chapter 2

As me and Tobias walk through the pit we are followed by our friends. Will, Christina, Zeke, Shaunna, Uriah, Marlene, and of course Lynn. I get confused as we walk right past Zeke's house. We always play there, something isn't right.

"Tobias," I wisper "where are we going. We just passed Zeke's apartment."

"This is why I asked about if you wanted to layer up"

When we get closer I realize where we are, the center of the Pit. There are 11 chairs in a circle. Wait, there are only 9 of us. I put that thought aside and decide to focus on the game instead.

We come upon the the circle then we sit down. We all sit next to our boyfriend or girlfriend. Lynn being the only single one sits next to an empty chair. "Poor Lynn" I think to myself "she must be lonely. I know I would be."

Zeke stands then comes to the middle of the circle, we are already surrounded by people.

Zeke points to me with a grin then says, "Trissy, C or D?"

"C"

"Your such a pansy-"Uriah starts so I cut him off.

"Uriah, if you call me a pansycake, for the rest of this game every time you call me that I will punch your nose."

Zeke stars again"Have you ever cheated on Four? And when I say that I mean the little things to like flirting of hugging ."

I know if I choose to lie Chris will see it and alert everyone. Then i'll have to remove two articles of clothing. I decide to be honest, "Yes, I have cheated. But it was a mild flirt...sort of"

"Is the person in this circle?"

"Yes" I say automatically Tobias' eyes dart to me. But Zeke keeps the heat going.

"State names" he says

I get nervous, "What?"

"You heard me. State. Names."

My palms start to sweat and my eyes start blinking rapidly. I'm not backing out. I'm not backing out. I take my jacket off.

I backed out.

Uriah laughs "Pansy-" I shoot him a death glare and he shuts up.

My turn , I get up and walk to the center I feel eyes stabbing the back of my neck. "Marlene, Candor or dauntless?"

"Dauntless," Marlene squeaks

"Okay, I dare you to go into Forever 46 buy the tiniest stuff you can find and wear it for the entirety of this game."

She stares then looks over her shoulder at the store and takes off her shirt revealing a cut up shirt. The action is followed by cattcalls and laughter. I wrinkle my nose at her, "Nice shirt."

"I know" she says " Why I took it from your closet." I had a hunch that shirt looked awfully familiar.

"Arighty... Four. Candor or Dauntless ?"
He smiles "Like Uriah said im Dauntless all the way. "
Marlene smiles "Alrighty then. I dare you to play 7 minutes in heaven with me. (A/N I know its seven seconds I juat wanted to be more dramatic.)
