Chapter 29

*Liam’s P.O.V*

I heard Harry calling my name from downstairs and I put on my jacket and went down.

“I’m coming” I called as I closed the front door. Everyone was in the car ready to go to the hospital. I locked the front door and sat in the front seat next to Louis.

We were in the hospital in no time. It wasn’t that far away. They all went up to Zayn’s room and I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat for everyone.

It was early in the morning and the place was not as packed as before. I bought some muffins, chocolate, and some coffee for everyone. I know I wasn’t the only one that hadn’t fallen asleep last night. The shuffling of everyone was pretty loud but you can’t really blame anyone.

“Thank you” I smiled at the cashier and handed her the money.

“Hey” I heard a voice from behind me. I turn around and found Josh. He looked pretty tiered. His hair messy and his eyes tiered

“I’m guessing you didn’t sleep either?” I asked and he shook his head

“How could I? This is all my fault”

“Josh” I sighed as I put  everything on the table and motioned him to sit down

“It was not your fault. It could have happened to anyone”

“This is the second time, Liam” He said as his hands covered his face “This is the second time I leave her and something bad happens”

“You know you can’t always stay with her. It was meant to happen. You can’t beat up yourself about it”

He lifted his head and ran his fingers through his hair with his eyebrows tangled “If it’s not my fault then whose it is?” He asked

“The bastard who pushed Sam down the stairs and stabbed Zayn”

His expressions became softer. He knew I was right. The problem is no one knows how he looks like

“We need Samantha to tell the cops how he looks like”

“We can’t find her” He said

“What do you mean?”

“She left last night but hasn’t come back yet”

“Wait, you’re not scared?” I asked as he took a deep breath in.

“Of what?”

“Scared that she might do something stupid? It’s no secret she blames herself! We need to find her Josh”

He nodded and we left the cafeteria.

*Harry’s P.O.V*

We all stood around the bed. Zayn was still asleep. We were all thinking of the worst. His mom was asleep with her head on the edge of the bed. His dad was asleep on the couch with Perrie sleeping next to him. They all looked tiered. It was only Louis, Niall and I in the room right now. Liam went downstairs to get something to eat and drink.

I felt something vibrating in my pocket. I picked it up and found a message from Liam that said “Meet me outside, right now. Tell Louis and Niall to stay and watch over Zayn”

I told Louis and Niall about the message and they nodded before I opened the door quietly and tiptoed my way out the room.

“What’s wrong” I asked as I saw a concerned look on Liam’s face.

“We can’t find Samantha”

“What do you mean, you can’t find Samantha?” I whisper screamed
