Tulisa my mum ( hidding a secret )

chapter 3

jade could hear her mum walking up the stairs so she quickly hide the thing that made her happy and opened the door

Jade " hey mum "

tulisa " what you doing in your room ? "

jade " nothing "

tulisa could tell that jade was lying but she didn't know how she could prove it . jade kept stealing fags from her mum

tulisa " jade I know that you have been stealing fags from me . why ? and I wish you would just ask me for some then I would know what you are doing "

jade " I just need fags I cant explain why and im sorry I just knew you would say no if I asked you and I didn't want another lecture from you "

tulisa " aww babe and if you would have kept asking I would have given in in the end id rather that then you stealing from me "

jade " im sorry mum "

jade and tulisa both hugged , jade then decided to go for a shower , she washed all the evidence off but before she could get out of the shower her mum walked in

jade " MUM what are you doing im trying to have a shower here "

tulisa " sorry jade I just really needed the toilet and besides ive seen it all before so you can get out "

jade " I know but I don't feel comfortable getting out ok "

tulisa " oh come on jade we always walk in on each other "

jade took a deep breath then got out of the shower and her tulisa saw her body and was shocked , jade quickly put a towel around her

tulisa " jade let me see your stomach again "

jade knew she has no choice but to show her mum what she had been hiding for months

tulisa " jade why have you done this too yourself you promised me that you had stopped "

jade " im sorry mum and as you know its an addiction and its just so hard for me to stop im so sorry mum , I need help please I want to stop " jade said crying

jade had started self harming again but this time it wasn't on her arms but on her stomach somewhere where her mum couldn't see until now

tulisa " okay jade we will get you help ok and im here to support you all the way but I need to know this are some of them because of me ? "

jade " no mum of course not its just hard to explain and when I don't know what to do this is what I do and I don't know what to do anymore "

tulisa " tomorrow we will get you help ok "

jade " okay mum "

jade was so scared she didn't know what would happen next but she knew she had to stop because she couldn't carry on like this and she was a bit glad that her mum had seen her cuts because now she didn't have to hide them but jade was still keeping a few more secrets

the next day jade had gotten help and she had to see a councillor every week to talk about her feelings and jade felt better knowing that she didn't have to keep it all inside and she was even happier that her mum understood

tulisa " im so happy that you got help im so proud of you , to celebrate lets go to the cinema and you can choose the sweets "

jade " ok sounds good "

they both went to the cinema and had a great time but tulisa still kept an eye on jade just to make sure that she was ok and to make sure that she wasn't hurting herself anymore but jade was hurting but on the inside and every night her mind would start racing and thinking of other things but jade tried her best to ignore it

jade " mum can you stay with me tonight please after that film I don't want to be left alone "

tulisa " sure , let me get changed first and ill be right there "

the next day jade had her first counselling appointment and was a bit nervous but she knew that she had to go

tulisa " you will be fine jade they are there to support you "

jade " I know "

whilst jade was at counselling tulisa went to the chemist she had broken up with her boyfriend a few weeks ago but tulisa didn't feel right and she knew what it was , tulisa thought that's she was pregnant so she bought a test , whilst jade was still at counselling tulisa  took the test.

jade was now out

tulisa " hey how did it go "

jade " it went well thank you , whats wrong mum you have a tear in your eye "

tulisa " I have something to tell you when we get home "

they were now home and jade was getting worried

jade " what is it mum ? "

tulisa " there is no easy way to tell you this but im pregnant "

jade " WHAT , I don't know what to say I mean im happy for you but just a bit shocked "

tulisa " thank you and yeah I was a bit shocked too  but I know that if I have you that everything will be ok "

jade " yeah "

jade was worried that this would change things between her and her mum and didn't know what to do so she just pretend that she was ok and helped her mum out as much as she could , she couldn't wait to be a big sister

jade " I cant wait to be a sister its going to be great "

tulisa " it is exiting I cant wait for the baby to be born "

tulisa was worried that jade would start cutting again once the baby is born so tulisa was going to make sure that she could keep an eye on jade
