J a i P O V
I was woken up by my set alarm clock, it was already about 11am. I don't want to go to fucking school, but it's only one year from now on, that's the only thing that kept me motivated. You think I'm a nerd, right?
Well, you are so fucking wrong it's amusing. I mean, I'm Jai Brooks, everyone in Melbourne knows me, I'm even known out of Melbourne, maybe even in parts of Sydney.
I didn't bother being late to school, I always was. The teachers didn't bother either, they're just like "Well it's you who doesn't get a Job, not me" and it's fucking annoying. I knew I was destroying my future, but I couldn't care less to be honest.
I groaned, getting out of my warm sheets and taking my clothes on. The only colours I knew were black and white. Maybe red or blue too, but nothing else. And so did my clothing look, someone might even say I look like I had a bad influence on their children.. And they were damn right.
So I just got ready, shuffled down the stairs and ate something for my breakfast. I stretched and looked at the clock, it was already 11:30am, which meant I was just in time for the 4th lesson. I got out to my bike and didn't bother to put a helmet on. My mother always complained about how it wasn't secure, but I'm gonna be damn 18 next year and I could survive on my own, thanks.
So I was driving out of the driveway, to my school. Let me tell you about myself, so you can understand why I act like this. I was raised by my Mum, with my older brother Beau. Our dad left as I was born, so my Mum had to work her ass off for us to go to bed satisfied. My childhood was simple, but I wasn't good at finding friends so Beau just kind of took me under his wings and always involved me to meetings with his friends. They were kind of a bad influence, I even had a time where I was in contact with drugs, but I did overcome this fast and without any entries into my criminal record certificate. From the money I made I bought myself a luxury tree house in the suburbs of Melbourne, in case Mum threw me out or I needed time to think.
I then parked my bike, just as the bell rang. Students were already walking around and I got my bag and walked in. I got my phone out and checked for any news, luckily there weren't any. I didn't have to look where I was walking, the crowd parted for me, I had more respect than the principal. Yes, I fucking ruled this hell hole of school. Just then, I bumped into someone, I looked up and put my phone away.
"Fucking hell??" I slightly pushed the person back. It was a boy, he was looking to the ground and just mumbled a "Sorry", but he kept looking at the floor. What the fuck?
"Fucking look me in the eyes when you talk to me you piece of shit!" I practically yelled.
"I-I-" I didn't let him finish his sentence. I grabbed his chin and pulled his face up, and what I saw I really didn't expect.
I looked into my mirror, this boy exactly looked like me. What for fucks sake is this. He was expecting me punching him, and I really would've done that if I wasn't in shock. I stared at his face, I needed to realize what was going on.
"Punch him already Jai!" A boy shouted, he stood in the crowd that quickly was formed round us. "No" I almost whispered. "Look at me" I said in a soft tone.
The boy then opened his eyes which grew in shock as he saw that we basically looked the same. He needed a while to realize that.
There were two possibilities. The first one would be, we are fucking twins and one of us two is adopted. The second one would be this all is a dream. That's why I...
