He backed a few steps away, so I could allow myself to stretch. "What's your favourite song?" I started off with something simple. "I-I don't have one" he whispered. Fine. "Favourite movie?" Hopefully he would answer this question properly. "Bad Neighbours" he said quietly. "Mhm favourite football team if you have one?" "Tottenha-" "FUCK YES" he flinched and looked at me scared.
"Sorry but Tottenham is one of the greatest teams ever, they're so passionate and have such a great quality and they love what they're doing and I'm supporting them so hard and Harry Kane is one of my faves and then there's-" "Jai, stop talking you're rambling" he giggled quietly. "Okay okay, sorry" he just looked at me quiet. God was this kid shy, and I hate shy people. What do I have to do for him to talk? "Favourite food?" "Noodles" he said quietly. He's so simple it's almost scary. "Allergies?" He shook his head. "How about your biggest fear?" I asked, hoping he'd respond with a whole sentence. He was about to say something but then someone knocked.
"Luke?" A female voice asked, I assumed it was his mother. His eyes widened and he stuffed me into his closet, I was about to protest but then the door opened.
"Luke, with who are you talking dear?" She asked.
"To a friend on the phone" he simply lied, and damn he was a good liar.
"Luke it's 11pm, I-"
"Mum trust me, it was just a good friend." He said calm. So this is his "Mum" I thought. It's weird Tao hear your twin say "Mum" to a woman who isn't his mother. It reminds me of the accidents when you call you teacher mum in elementary school.
"Sure? If it was porn, that's normal Luke, everyone watched porn once." She said soothing. I was about to burst and I really had to hold my breath, cause this is too funny.
"MUM!" He exclaimed, "I didn't watch porn!" I was laughing quietly into his jacket at this point. This is so embarrassing I thought.
"Don't denie it, it's okay, discovering sexual interests is normal for a boy at your age." She said.
"Yes yes okay now get out" he said and I could her her leaving and the door closing. That's the point where I burst out in laughter and fell out of his closet. I took a short glimpse of his face and I could tell a tomato looked pale against his face. I had to laugh even more, cause it was just so cliché. "Could you please stop laughing at me?" He asked quietly. I stopped, I didn't want to embarrass him even more. I stood up and looked at him.
"What about if we two go to a Tottenham game together next Wednesday?" I asked him.
