Chapter 3:Dexus

"Callie stay behind me he'll kill you if your not careful." "Ok Kenny but I can help to." Ken ignored Callie and charged at Dexus. Dexus's left eye turned purple and blue as Ken grew closer. Ken gained his cloak and scythe as he activated his shadow reaper abilities and threw his scythe at Dexus. Dexus' eye began to glow as Ken was blasted back Ken got back to his feet. "Callie what did I just get hit by." "Ken I'm not sure but I think it's something about his left eye." Ken then nodded at Callie as he sprinted toward his scythe sliding grabbing it Ken faced Dexus. "Who are you and why does the swarm want Mia." Ken said as his anger began to increase as well as his powers. "I am the shadow reaper known as Dexus and we have taken her only by orders from Edge our master." Dexus said with a smile on his face. "Callie when I tell you to fire a couple blasts at his left eye got it." Ken said looking back at his little sister with a smile. "Got it Ken" Callie said as he hands filled with a shadowy mist. Ken then shot forward just as he saw Dexus' eye flash he teleported behind him sending black chains to quickly wrap up Dexus. Dexus began to struggle as he turned his attention away from Callie just as he turned Ken nodded to Callie and just then Callie shot a shadow blast at Dexus' left eye striking it and destroying it Dexus fell to the ground writhing in pain then Ken dashed at Dexus slamming his scythe through Dexus' back. Ken jumped next to Callie. "Ok Call let's finish him." Ken said charging up a blast as Callie did so as well they both fired their blasts at Dexus. Just before the blasts connected Dexus exploded in a burst of anger destroying the blasts as he stood up and ripped Ken's chest open with a single swing of his scythe dropping Ken to the ground after he was blasted backwards into a wall slouched in a sitting position Dexus began walking forward towards Ken, Callie stepped in between the two, "Your fight is with me now Dexus." "Step aside weakling you are not my target." Dexus backhanded Callie knocking her to the floor. Dexus continued  to walk towards Ken his power cracking the ground beneath him as he walked. Then the sound of a loud scream erupted as Callie rose to her feet enveloped in an orb of darkness the ground cracking and disintegrating under her the orb exploded creating a crater as Callie stood there black marks covering her face and arms as a pure black aura flared up around her. "Don't you dare touch my brother." Callie spoke in an almost demonic voice as she summoned black chains that wrapped up Dexus' right arm completely crushing it Dexus fell to the ground in pain Callie then walked over to him destroying the ground around her as she walked placing her foot on top of the shadow reapers head. "This will teach you to never mess with my family!" Callie screamed in a demonic voice as she crushed Dexus' head and decimated the rest of his body with a pulse of pure shadow energy. Ken regained consciousness in time to see Callie quickly make work of Dexus. Ken barely got to his feet and stumbled over to Callie who fainted after using all of her energy. Just as Ken reached Callie the rest of The Swarm surrounded them grabbing Ken and Callie and dragging them to the Devil's throne room where Ken came face to face with an old foe.
