Sehun: ~Scattered Thoughts~

Sehun's POV:

I walked out of the hotel lobby into the brisk Thursday morning.
Taking a deep breath and releasing it slowly, I made my way to the rehearsal building that was about a block down from the hotel. My migraine was gone, but the confusion and embarrassment resided.
If Kai had dealt with my drunken ass the night before, it's only polite to thank him.
...What will he think of me?

My stomach dropped suddenly as I tripped over a crack that was slanted in the sidewalk.
Catching myself, I looked around.
I shook my head slightly.
..I guess it's a good thing I didn't do a premiere performance, if I can't even walk correctly.
I can see why SM wouldn't risk it with me.
But the rest of them..

"Tsk."
I clicked my tongue and kept walking, minding the slanted sidewalk cracks this time.

My mind drifted back to Lu in my hotel room.
Something about him seemed off.
I must've been a real pain in the ass last night.. I wish I could at least remember what I said.
I bet he thinks I'm back into my old routines again..

It's not true.
What if they question me?
"A lot has been on my mind lately".. I could tell them.
Which it has.

I don't want to bring them into this, they all deserve to be happy. They shouldn't have to worry about the maknae.

I finally reached the glass double doors leading into our private dance studio.
I exhaled deeply, seeing my breath fog the glass in front of me.

I leaned my head against it, not wanting to enter. The cool glass felt somehow calming on my warm forehead.

I jumped as I felt a knock from behind the glass.
I looked up to see Chen standing there, with an amused expression on his face.

"So... are you planning on entering the building or..?"
He chuckled and opened the door.

I scoffed and walked inside, welcoming the warm heat.

"Rough night, huh?" Tao walked through the practice room doors to greet us both.

He punched my stomach playfully and wrapped his arms around my neck, messing with my hair.

"Eugh, I just fixed it..."
I tried to be annoyed, but I just couldn't with them.

I reluctantly half-smiled and walked through the practice room doors.

In the room, I noticed the other members who hadn't been in town the night before.
They were all on the floor stretching, and they looked up when we entered.
I nodded at them and placed my belongings on the hardwood floor.

"Sehunnie! You finally decided to join us."
I heard Baek's voice from behind, and I turned, mustering a small smile.
My eyes shifted to his face, then the floor.

"Sorry.. I had to shower.." I muttered softly.

"After last night it's a good thing you did-" Baek started, but was instantly tackled by Tao.

"Shh" He placed his index finger to his lip slowly and winked my way.

I could feel my face heating up, and I turned the other direction, avoiding the gazes of the members that weren't at the
meeting last night.

"Good thing we haven't started yet."
My eyes flickered up at the sound of Kai's voice.

It didn't help my hot cheeks, and I tried to push the feelings away.

He entered the room with a water bottle in his hand, a sly smirk across his face.
Great.. If he brings up last night in front of the others...

He walked up to me slowly and paused, eyeing me over.
I held my breath as his hand reached out and touched my hair.
My head automatically titled to the side a bit, and I couldn't control it. For some reason, my body wanted him to run his whole, soft hand through my hair swiftly.
He tossed his finger through it for a split second, and then dropped his arm quickly.
My face pounded, and I cursed myself internally as I forgot to breathe.
