Chapter 15: The World To Me

You stumbled down the sidewalk, your friends following behind you. They took you out for a drink after they heard about you and Dark, you were obviously drunk. "I know... I can.. Just go find myself... Another man.." You slurred, as you fell to your knees, tears sliding down your cheeks. "I can't do that... I need him.." Your eyes swelled up with tears, as your friends helped you up, and walk towards your house. "Why! Why is he such an asshole!" You screamed as you threw your purse at the wall as you walked inside with your friends. Melissa, one of your best friends sighed, "Sweetie, you will be fine, he doesn't deserve you." She smiled, wrapping her arms around your neck. "You're strong, beautiful, nice, and can get any man you want." She kissed your cheek softly. "Just think about it, but we have to go, we'll talk to you tomorrow." You nodded, sniffing slightly, "Bye Melissa and Hannah, thanks for being here for me." You sniffed again, as you waved to them, they smiled, and waved back. They said their goodbyes and walked out, leaving you by yourself.

You let out a sigh, sliding down a wall as you thought what Dark was doing until you shook your head. "No! Melissa was right, I can get any man I want!" You stood up, grabbing your phone, and purse. You walked out and walked towards Mark's apartment. Your eyes were tearing up, as you slowly knocked on the door. You waited for about a minute before Mark stood in the doorway. He smiled, until he saw the tears sliding down your cheeks as you looked at him. "Y/n, what's wrong? What happened?" He set his hand on your cheek as he looked into your e/c orbs. You nuzzled his hand, gently setting your own hand over his. "Your brother happened..." You mumbled, as he let out a sigh. "I'm sorry... He.. He can be an idiot sometimes." You scoffed, "More of an asshole cheating bastard that thinks he can get away with anything." You took a step away from Mark, away from his hand. "I know you're hurt by his actions but he isn't a bad guy." You stared at the floor, tears streaming down your cheeks as you slowly fell to your knees. Mark quickly crouched beside you, his arms stretched out as he held you close. "H-he proposed! He proposed to me!" You cried, as you cried into Mark's chest. He nodded, holding you close. "It's alright.. Okay.. You can stay here for the night.." You nodded, as you calmed down a bit. Tears still streamed down your cheeks as Mark lifted you up bridal style. Your head rested on his shoulder, as you felt your eyes fall heavy.He walked towards his room, setting you down on the bed. You were already asleep as he chuckled, pulling the blanket over you.

You woke up in the middle of the night. You still wore your dress as you slowly got out of the bed. "Mark?" You looked around, not seeing him anywhere. You walked down the hallway and looked at the couch. Mark sat on his couch, watching the TV. You slowly sit next to him, your head resting on his shoulder as he looks at you. "Y/n? What are you doing out of bed?" You sniffled slightly, your mascara all messy, "I just wanted to be near you.." You mumbled as he nodded, slowly wrapping his arm around you. You smiled softly, closing your eyes as you cuddled closer. He reached over to grab a blanket, throwing it over your shoulders, as he pulled you closer. Your head now rested on his chest, as you two watched the TV without any interest anymore.

"Mark, Mark! Mark!" You screamed, shaking him up as he finally opened his eyes. "What....?" He mumbled groggily. You had already cleaned yourself up, and stole one of Mark's shirt which was way too big on you, but you didn't care. "Get up! You lazy ass." You smiled as Mark let out a soft chuckle. He sat up, rubbing his eyes beneath his glasses as he moved his hair back. "What time is it?" You pointed at the clock, saying it was twelve in the afternoon. You got off the couch, walking towards the kitchen, "You talk in your sleep." You smiled, as you grabbed a glass and filled it with water. "I do? What did I say?" Mark raised an eyebrow as he looked towards you. The grin on your face widened as you shrugged, "Oh nothing much.. Except that you loved me." You turned towards, as his lips smashed against yours. Your eyes widened as his lips were on yours.

Your lips parted their ways as he stared at you, "Sorry.." He mumbled as you looked at him. "I was about to say.. I love you too.. I've realized that." You smiled as he turned towards you, the goofy grin on his face always made you giggle. He softly kissed your forehead as he took the glass, setting it on the counter beside you. Mark pulled you into a tight hug, holding you in his arms. "It's my fault you got kidnapped all that time ago.." You shook your head, "No it isn't. Also that man.. It was my brother. He... Never mind it isn't important." Mark nodded, not wanting to push you any further. He smiled as he kissed you softly. He cupped your cheeks, as you kissed him back sweetly. You never knew how much you could love this man in front of you like you do now. Even though Dark cheated and you kicked him out, you felt happy. After a week (now it has been a week :3) of misery, you were happy.. With someone who can make you happy..

You loved Mark. He was there for you.

Eyyyy I finished it ^^ I finally managed to work through the writers block so yeah, also, I know I know this is a Darkiplier x Reader but it will maybe end well for you and Dark, and I might even create another book. Also this book might not be interesting but I'm trying to make it interesting and also. I almost have 300? 400? Either one, I have almost 300/400 followers! :D
