Recap:
"Their opening the gate to the other dimension. The gate to my mother's dimension to be precise."
"But how?" Asked Conner.
"Well the night they sent jace," Damon wrapped his arms tight around me a Jace's name. "And I here to the mortal world my mom opened a gate door here, and put the people she trusted least of all in charge of the key."
"Well if she trusted them the least why were they in charge?" Asked Alec.
"Because dip shit they would be the last two people alive to ask about information regarding the queen and her missing kingdom." Damon answered for me.
"Hey man no need for the bullshit I was just asking a que...." Alec got cut off by a loud bang the shook the whole house.
"The gateway is ready." Said Phillip who stepped out of the room and went down stairs.
Taking Damon's hand; we faced the blinding blue light coming from the now open gate. "So I'm gonna ask one more time. You ready to meet my parents?"
All he did was give me a heart stopping smile and nod yes. Then we all five walked toward the shining light.

Haylee's P.O.V.
The light at first burned your skin, but the further in you went the more it started feeling like a cool summers day. I was the first to step out of the light. My feet hitting black marble with an echoing click. Damon was the next to land beside me, followed by Alec, and Reece.
"Wow..." said Alec as he gazed up at the night sky; also known as my mother's ceiling.
I turned to Damon as he glanced around. Not in aw, but in familiarity. He's been here before. I know he has. Although he's trying to hide the fact that he has from me. I'm not okay with that.
"Come on." I head straight to the grand staircase like I also have been here before. Which I have. Elizabeth showed me that.
The whole time I was away from Damon, Elizabeth was going through my head. Pulling out little bits and pieces that were hidden deep in the back of my mind and for good reason. I now know everything. Why the creature attacked on the night of my birth, what the creature is or more like who it is. I learned well almost everything. I just need my mothers help to find out the last thing. How to defeat the creature.
I walked up the grand staircase just to come across a long, wide, and very dark hallway. I snapped my fingers causing hells fire to come forth in each of the torches lining the walls. Damon's eyebrows shoot up. "When did you learn to control my domain?"
A smile crosses my face as I grab his hand. "It's not just your domain baby. Also a lot has happened while I was away."
"I got that from the waves of power radiating off of you, but it should have taken you centuries to control hells fire." He said.
"I know that. Trust me I've done the time." As I walked Damon looked at me like I lost my mind. "I'll explain, but not right now."
"Alright." Was the only reply he gave me.
We kept walking down the hallway. I stared straight ahead not looking at anything around me unlike everyone else. They couldn't stop turning in circles to get a 360 view of everything around us.
The hell caused the hall to have a slightly Creepy glow throughout the hall. Although each wall had a painting of things and creatures that my parents ruled over. Some of the paintings are showing a time of pure happiness. Others are are showing a time of fear, and death. As we reached the end of the hall I stopped and looked to the right.
"How.....?" Asked Alec.
At first I just watched the picture slowly and delicately create itself on the smooth surface of the wall. As if a the ghost of Leonardo da Vinci himself was painting it.
Damon squeezed my hand to get my attention away from the blurry painting. Looking up at Damon my breath caught like always. He raised a perfectly manicured brow and tilted in his in the direction of the painting.
"Ohhh were in the hall of time. It was created the night of by birth by my grandmother. It's how she froze everything. Everything that is supernatural and important is painted on the wall so it can't reach the room on the other side of the door." I pause and look at the plainly pitiful door. There was nothing extraordinary about the door except the fact that it's missing a knob.
"Why is the painting so blurry." Asked Damon.
"Because," I let go of his hand and go to the door, "What its painting hasn't actually happened yet."
Bending over I pull the dagger out of my boot. Taking in a breath I slide the blade over the inside of my hand causing a thick line of dark red to come up. Damon came toward me, but my hand was already on the door making a line of my blood across it. The door starts to Trimble on its hinges; then it explodes inward causing a gust of wind.
I step inside and look around at the people now waking up from a deep sleep. I walked straight to one person. The person I've dreamed about most of my life. The one every girl needs.
"Hello Mother."
