"So what colour of dress woud you like?" one of the ladies at the dress store asked.

"Uh...well my favorite colour is pink, but I don't think I would look good in it." I stated gazing at the ground.

"Oh honey! You have got beautiful green eyes, and with your long brown hair, you will look good iin any colour." this lady is very chipper, I thought.

"Oh-uh, thanks I guess. I think I will try this red one." I held it up againts my slim body and did a little twirl.

"Good choice hun."

The kind lady who I found her name was Catherine, led me to the row of black, and purple change rooms. To my surprise it fit perfectly, it flattered my curves and matched my eyes perfectly.

"This is the one!" I smiled at Catherine. "Now I need shoes and accesories!" Oh my god. I am turning into such a girl.

I left the store after about an hour finding the perfect shoes and a few braceletes, to match my new dress. One of the many things I love about being Up Here is that you don't have to pay for anyhting. So there was no need for money. What people worked for Up Here, was to for time to go down to Earth and see their loved ones. Minimum wage Up Here is about 2 minutes an hour. The only downside os that your loved ones can't see you when you visit them.

I had just finished curling my long hair when my phone buzzed.

Hey I can't wait to see how beautiful you look ;) -G

Yeah, yeah just don't be late picking me up :P -K As soon as i hit send  the doorbell rang.

I thought i said on time not early, anyways I was ready grabbing my shoes and purse I ran down the stairs and answered the door. It wasn't Garret.

"Hi...uh can I help you?" I asked a little confused.

"Yes you can actually." he cleared his throat. "May I come in."

"Actually my date is going to be here soon and he hates waiting so-" he cut me off.

"It won't take long." he insisted as he pushed past me and went into my living room.

"Kara Lutz, is it?" he questioned.

"I assume that since you are here in my living room, you already know the answer to that question." He laughed.

"Well, I guess I will cut to the chase. You have been resisting The Light for a very long time." he tapped his chin.

"I hardly think that that is any of your business." I threw back.

"I think you should know that once you have resisted The Light for to long...oh how i hate to be the one to break the news...but the council have made the courageous decision to begin killing of the your loved ones."
