The Vampire Diaries (Klaus and Elena)

Back in town

Dear Diary,
I have been back in mystic falls for about three weeks now, and I am so glad to be back. No I have not heard anything from Klaus, he's probably shacking up with some other girl, but I don't really care anymore because I have Damon... Yes Damon and I are back together, I love him so much, no matter what I will always find my way back to Damon.

I put my diary on the top shelf of my dresser in Damon and mines room. I grab my bags and walk down the stairs. Damon has planned a romantic weekend for us at my parents lake house, and it's a weekend much needed. Over the past few weeks I have had to listen to Caroline complain about how I'm back together with Damon and how much she is revolted by him. Also I've been trying to help Matt with his mom problems, which is a whole lot harder then it seems.

I hand my bags to Damon giving him a kiss.

"All ready to go?"

He asks smiling.

"Yes, let's go"

I say grabbing my keys and practically running out the door.

"Someone's exited for our romantic weekend"

Damon says half smiling half smirking

"Im so glad that we are finally taking a few days off from our hectic life just to enjoy each other. This is going to be the best weekend I have had in awhile"

I say getting in the car.

Not long after we arrived at the lake house. I always loved this place as a kid, it's kind of weird that I used to come here with Stefan and now I'm here with Damon, which I'm glad. There is no one else I would rather be here with. We get out of the car and go inside, unpacking our things. I feel my phone vibrate in the back pocket of my pants.

"It's Bonnie"

I say looking at Damon.

"Hey Bon what's up?"

I ask

"Elena we have a bit of a problem"

She says kind of worried into the phone. I look at Damon

"Bonnie what's wrong?"

"It's Klaus, he's back in town"

I feel my stomach drop.

"What do you mean he's back? Did you see him?"

I ask. Damon gave me a questioning look.

"He just walked into the grill, he asked me where you were. I told him that I didn't know so don't tell me where you are"

She says

"Okay thanks Bonnie"

I say then hang up.

"Why the hell is Klaus here?"

Damon asks

"I, I don't know, Bonnie said he's looking for me"

Damon gets an angry look on his face, I walk up to him and put my arms around his neck.

"Hey, you have nothing to worry about. I'm here with you, I love you."

I say looking up at him.

His face turns to a half smile

"I love you too"

He says kissing me. He pulls me closer to him deepening the kiss. I remove his shirt, running my hands over his chiseled body. He lays me down on the bed, I've missed the feeling of him on top of me. I love him so much.

Klaus's POV

I walk into the mystic grill in hopes of finding Elena, I went to the Salvatore mansion earlier this evening and Damon nor Elena was home so I'm assuming they are together. I see Matt walk into the storage room of the restaurant he will know where Elena is. I quickly walk through the door that Matt went through.

"Matt Donovan"

I say leaning up against the shelf. He turns around startled.

"Klaus, what the hell are you doing here?"

He asks sitting down a box.

"I'm here because of Elena where might I find her?"

I ask

"There's no way in hell I'd ever tell you"

He says trying to walk out the door when I stopped him. I grab him by the neck and push him up against the wall.

"I suggest you tell me before you become my next meal"

I say. He gasps for breath.

"The lake house, they're at her parents lake house"

"Awe now that wasn't so hard was it"

I say releasing him. As soon as I walk through the entrance of the mystic grill i run into Caroline.

"Klaus"

She says looking at me

"Hello Caroline"

"Why are you in a hurry"

She asks me questioningly

"I'm going to kill Damon"

I say smiling then walking away.

Caroline's POV

Kill Damon? What? He must have found out that him and Elena are back together. Oh no I need to do something, Damon can't fight off Klaus. Stefan, I need to call Stefan.

I pull my phone out of my pocket and dial his number. He picks up on the fourth ring.

"Caroline"

He says into the phone

"Stefan we have a problem Klaus is back in town and he is going to kill Damon. I'll explain everything, but you need to get here like now"

I say worriedly

"Yeah, I'm already on my way home I'll be there soon"

He says then hangs up.

A/N so I know this chapter is short put I wanted to get one posted. What do you think about Stefan coming back?
