Letter (8)

Ok, Lance. This is written directly from Mr. Jameson, to you. I can't stand this anymore. I'm writing similar letters to the other subjects, but yours is special. I am tired of this. I am tired of seeing you children, put through this. But most of all, I'm tired of lying to you. You think you're manipulative? That's a joke.

We've known for a long time about your White Jacket. We've been studying it. It's paranormal. Different. They know it gives you the powers. We've been misleading you. They are scared, the scientists. They want to kill you, and keep the jacket for themselves. Not me though, I know that you can do great things, maybe even world peace.

So now is your time to escape. I am inciting a rebellion. I am going to leave, and you need to trash this entire laboratory. Tomorrow is the best time. It won't mmatter if someone stops the letter from delivering. I know you'll rebel eventually. I just hope to speed up the process.

This may not reach you. But I hope this redeems me to you. Your powers will increase exponentially, and fast too. I'm sure you will do something good with it.

This is probably not the first time that someone has told you that they were lying to you. But this may be the most important one. Honestly, at the rate your power is growing. You may be the only thing that matters in the history of humanity.

Those are some heavy thoughts to burden you with. Just think about it ok. I could go on for hours about this, but I know you couldn't read my boring print for an hour. It was an honor too meet you.

Sincerely,
Dr. Locke
