Chapter 4 - Nichole

I shut the door as soon as Louis and Niall were out the door.

"What we doing?" Madison questioned us, I looked at Tessa, waiting for an answer myself.

"Well, we have lots of things to do," Tessa smiled as I picked Madison up with a smile.

"Like??" Madison pushed.

"We could make cupcakes, or just paint each others nails!" Tessa suggested.

"CUPCAKES!!" Madison cheered.

"Oh god. You've been around Niall too much," Tessa complained.

"I wonder why," I laugh walking to the kitchen, and Madison giggled along with me.

"Why?" Tessa asked confused, fallowing us.

"You two keep stealing her from me and Louis," I noted and set Madison down on the counter.

"I can't help it! She's so cute!" Tessa walked over and bopped Maddie's nose and Madison started to giggle and hides her face in her hands, I smiles at her fake bashfulness.

"So Maddie!" Tessa smiles at the girl, "what flavor? Chocolate, strawberry or vanilla?" She continued, Madison sat in thought.

"Chocolate and strawberry!!" Madison declared.

"Both? How is this gonna work?" Tessa thought aloud, then turns to me, "Nichole, you're the one who worked at a bakery," she handed me the cake mixes.

"I dunno if this can work..." I said, thinking.

"But mummy..." Madison sniffled.

"I think I can figure something out," I smiled, doing what I can to keep my baby happy, and took the mixes.

"Can't you like, swirl it or something?" Tessa suggested.

"I can. Or hollow out the chocolate and fill it with strawberry," I said after a moment.

"No, hollow the strawberry. I like strawberry better," Tessa said with sass.

"Yeah!" Madison agreed, pointing at the strawberry cake mix.

"Alright," I smiled, starting to make the batter.

"So, what were you and Niall talking about last night?" Tessa asked, helping me.

"Nothing much really. Just random stuff," I shrugged a little, feeling Madison's eyes on us.

Tessa eyed me a little, not satisfied with my answer.

"I saw how Niall glared at you this morning. Niall's face is easy to read. For me it is," Tessa noted.

"So thats why he glared," I remember his look from earlier, and mixed the batter, "we were talking about telling Louis something," I explained.

"Tell daddy what?" Madison asked.

"Yeah. What?" Tessa asked, preheating the oven.

"Uh... I might be pregnant. Again..." I explained, slowly stirring the mix now.

"What!?" I could hear the smile in her voice.

"Pregnant?" Madison asked confused.

"Yeah..." I turned to look at Maddie, "yes. That means I'll have a baby in my tummy. And you'll have a brother or sister," I explained, smiling.

"I want a sissy!!" Madison cheered.

"That means while mummy's with the baby first few weeks, ill have you more often," Tessa winked at Maddie.

"And uncle Ni?" Madison asked, making Tessa laugh.

"And Ni," she promised.

"You'll spend a lot of time with them," I guaranteed, kissing her forehead, "and I can't promise you'll have a sissy," I told her.

"It could be a bubba," Tessa noted.

"Can I name him?" Madison asks, looking up at us.

"Sure, what do you have in mind?" I questioned.

"Niall," Maddie smiled cheekily, and Tessa started to laugh.

"We already have one of those. We don't need another," She explained.

"How about daddy's name?" Madison asked.

"I dunno. Do you want another boy like daddy?" I ask, laughing a little, making her think.

"No," Madison declared.

"Come up with a name you like, baby!" Tessa encouraged.

I couldn't help but giggle. I wait for Madison's next suggestion as I pour the batter into the cupcake pan.

"I like Aiden," Madison said after a moment.

"Where'd you hear that name?" Tessa asked.

"TV," she answered honestly.

"Aww that's cute!" I smiled, sliding the cupcakes into the oven.

"Very cute..." Tessa agreed.

"What about a girls name?" I questioned.

"Heather," She smiled.

"Love it!!" Tess and I agreed.

"When I have a baby, do you want to name him or her?" Tessa asked.

"Yes I do!" Madison smiled.

"Great! Nichole are the cupcakes almost ready?" She asked impatiently.

"Almost..." I smiled.

"Oh my god. Hurry. I want to go upstairs and watch a movie or just talk or something," Tessa complained.

"Yeah!!" Madison agreed.

"Then go upstairs and pick and movie. I'll bring the cupcakes up," I suggested.

"The Aristocats!!!" Madison loves that movie.

"YES LETS WATCH THAT!" Tessa picked Madison up and takes off upstairs, making me laugh.

-30 minutes later-

I walk upstairs, bringing the cupcakes with me. I make it down the hallway and entered the room. There I saw Tessa and Madison jumping on the bed.

"Hey you two! Stop jumping or no cupcakes!" I scolded.

Tessa laughed and stops jumping and grabbing Madison.

"AHHH!" She screamed, making Maddie laugh.

Tessa fell back on the bed with Maddie on top of her. I couldn't help but laugh. I sat on the bed, setting the tray of cupcakes on the bed in front of me.

We got about 10 minutes through the movie, when we heard the door open and close. Tessa and I looked at each other. They guys can't be home yet.
