Chapter 2 - Nichole

I woke up in the middle of the night. I turned and looked at the sleeping boy beside me. I smiled and carefully climbed out of bed and made my way downstairs. I notice the TV still on. I mad my way over and saw Niall and Madison sitting on the couch.

"Why are you two up?" I questioned the boy.

He looked up at me and put a finger to his lips.

"Shh, she's actually dozing off. She woke up crying, so I sat up with her..." He explained.

"Oh..." I leaned down and kissed the sleeping girls forehead softly, "Want me to take her?" I whispered to Niall.

"No, I got her," Niall smiled at Madison as she nuzzled into his side.

"Want anything to eat?" I asked, smiling at the two.

"Yeah, sure..." He wrapped a blanket around the small girl.

I walked to the kitchen, going straight into the fridge. I looked around, finding some leftovers from Nandos. I walk back to the living room with the box in hand.

"Why are you up so late?" Niall asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Woke up, started craving food. Here I am," I shrugged.

"Are you sure you're not pregnant again?" Niall joked around, laughing.

"Actually... I might be. I don't know yet," I sat beside him, so we could share the chicken.

He had chicken in his mouth as I finished my sentence, causing him to cough from shock.

"What!? Does Louis know?" He questioned me, looking at me, surprised in his eyes.

"Not yet. I want to make sure I am first before I tell him anything about it," I explained, eating some chicken.

"That seems like a good idea, you don't need him stressing about it..." He took a bite of chicken, watching Madison sleep, "You're so lucky..." He noted.

I started to feel a little guilty. I know how bad they want a baby...

"Just keep trying, you two will have a kid," I munched more on the food.

"Someday," He smiled, finishing his piece of chicken, reaching and grabbing another piece.

Tessa walked in, rubbing her eyes. I assumed it was from us talking...

"W-Why are you two up?" She stuttered, tiredly.

"I was hungry..." I told her honestly, looking up at her.

"Madison woke up crying, so I brought her in here..." Niall answered.

"Oh..." was all she said, and sat on the couch.

"Did we wake you?" Niall asked with concern in his tone.

"Yeah. I felt that you weren't with me, and I got cold. Then I heard you guys talking. You know I'm a light sleeper..." She explained, looking between us.

"I know babe. I'm sorry we woke you up..." Niall said apologetic.

"Don't be. It's okay," She stood up and kissed Niall, and grabs his piece of chicken.

"You're so lucky I love you," Niall sighed a little, and smiled at her.

I couldn't help but laugh, and I looked into the box. 

"And that was the last piece," I informed him.

"Okay. Now you're super lucky..." He corrected himself.

"Things just work out for me," Tessa giggled, and Madison started to whine a little while moving around.

"Oh baby, shh..." Niall started to rock her a little, he and Tessa are so adorable when they're in parent mode.

Madison cling on to him, and I watched them, smiling a little.

"Nichole, she's a beautiful girl," Tessa complimented.

"Thank you, she favors her father a lot," I smiled, looking at her facial features.

"We can tell, she sassed Liam," Niall chuckled a little.

"Yeah she did," Tessa joined in on the laugh.

Tessa: *laughs* yeah she did.

"She did? What happened?" I asked, curious.

"Well, Liam and Zayn had a vet one who could make her laugh," Niall started.

"And she laughed at something Niall and I did. So Liam jumped up yelling "I win!" Then she said "Not today uncle Li, that was bad."," Tessa finished.

I started to laugh a little, picturing the moment in my head, and Madison started to wake up.

"I want mummy and daddy..." She mumbled a little.

"Mummy's right her babe..." Niall rubbed her back, trying to calm her down.

Tessa and I sat and watched Madison to see what she's does. Madison pushed herself up and crawled over to me, getting in my lap. I wrap my arms securely around her, holding her.

"She never does this..." Niall noted.

"She does when she has a bad dream," I explained, rocking her a little.

Niall stood up and walked to Tessa, sitting behind her while wrapping his arms around her.

"It's probably from the cake..." Tessa thought aloud, placing her arms on top of his.

"Probably," I agreed, "I'm going to get her in bed..." I stood up, holding her close.

"Night guys," I added in.

"Night," Niall kept Tessa close to him.

"Goodnight, don't let the bed bugs bite," She smiled, laying down, cuddling with Niall.

I made my way up to mine and Louis room. I quietly and gently laid her down beside Louis, and I climbed into bed. I laid down on the other side of Madison staying close to her. I laid there my mind starting to wander. If I am pregnant...

How the hell am I going to tell Louis?
