Uncertainty is no color for any assassin to wear. The state of dubiety allows the suspicion of possibilities to become probabilities and without having any prior knowledge of either or, the consequences could be parlous. Thus making the situation vulnerable to anything and everything due to the lack of foresight. In failing to have shaken off the grim feeling of the unknown from the night before, Evie rises from her slumber at her usual according time and heads straight to the location where she previously pinpointed you. Her trained blue eyes scavenge the area for you in vain for you are currently no where in her line of sight. Yet, this doesn't disincentivize the Assassin, especially when considering the difficulties she encountered on the task of locating you the previous day. With that said, her current struggle was foreseen but a small feeling of agitation still manages to creep itself upon her as she seems to be getting nowhere in her search for finding you. The feeling of exasperation and bemusement becoming all too familiar to her.
The Assassin takes a pause in her steps as she realizes she's done this just a day before. However, unlike yesterday, she doesn't see you but she does hear you.
"Take these infernal chains off of me this instant!" you irritably yell, "This is ridiculous!"
"I know that voice," Evie mumbles to herself as she begins to follow the sound trail of the voice. She continues to walk further down the street until she sees your familiar form being escorted out of an alleyway by two men clad in navy blue. One day you're saving children from child labor and the next you're resisting arrest? What a true enigma you are.
"What is ridiculous is you thinking you could've gotten away with it under our noses!" comments one of the officers escorting you to the police carriage, the other subtly nods in agreement with his comrade.
"Considering how large they are I surely thought you wouldn't have seen me," you snicker a little too loudly to yourself.
Out of irritation, one of the officers harshly pulls on your arm, "Oi!"
"Okay, sorry! Just please stop I can explain," you try to reason, yet the officers refuse and hoist you into the back of their police carriage.
With you securely settled inside the small mobile jail, the officers begin to walk to the coach seat of the carriage; one walks beside the right side of the carriage and the other beside the left. Thus, creating a perfect window of opportunity for the lurking female assassin. Swiftly, Evie pulls up her hood, igniting her stealth mode, and proceeds to sneak behind one of the officers before skillfully knocking him unconscious. With one policeman subdued, that only leaves one more. The assassin advances towards the other side of the carriage to knock out the other officer but he turns around sooner than she anticipates and initiates a brawl.
The policeman immediately takes out his whistle, however, Evie punches it out of his grasp before he could alert any nearby officers and proceeds to wrap her arm around the officer's neck and squeezes his throat against her arm successfully subduing the last remaining officer .
On hearing the commotion, you rise from your seat and attempt to look out of the small window of metal bars; your hands grip on either side of the bars and you press your face betwixt the bars and your hands, yet you still can't manage to see what is happening.
"Hello?.." you curiously call out.
No response.
You slightly puff in curiosity and slight annoyance before retreating from the small window to the seat in the back. With your elbows on your knees and you chin resting on your palms, you sit and ponder on an escape route from the mobile confinement. The outside was securely locked, and the carriage was in perfect condition, internally as well as externally. Finding an escape route promptly begins to feel like wishful thinking, considering the tip top shape of the vehicle. That is until you hear the clink of a small key making contact with the floor of the carriage. Immediately, your head jumps from your palms in surprise then quickly look to the back door of the carriage at the sound of it being unlocked.
