In Underfell, Sans is asleep at his sentry station, you know, like he normally does. He doesn't have to listen to his brother, Papyrus, for a while since he's hanging out with Undyne. Thank god. That's all Sans hears from Papyrus. Nagging, orders, and just yelling at him for being so lazy. He can never seem to get a break, but he eventually starts to get used to it now. That also sorta applies for everyone else in Underfell towards him. He starts to not even care anymore, really. He just shrugs this stuff off his shoulders and continues to live on with his life. So, he's asleep at his sentry station when his communicator goes off on his wrist. He decides to try and ignore it, but it keeps ringing. Eventually, it must have answered for itself cause Undertale Undyne's hologram popped up, leaving a voicemail.

"Uh, is anyone there? Well, I'll just leave a message."

"... So... It's been awhile I guess I can say. Things have been going good in the last several months that you last came. Well, I can almost say everything's been good. Something... tragic happened recently. I don't really know how or why it happened. Now, you are probably wondering why my dimensions Sans didn't call you instead. Well... I'm about to get to that. The tragic news is... well..."
Her voice started to trail off while UF Sans listened to this. What happened? He so badly wanted to tell her to spit it out already, but he didn't want to answer her that much, so he just stayed quiet and tried to resist answering her.

"*Deep breath*, okay. Here goes nothing. The news is... recently there was a past away. Someone had lost a life here. It's been depressing. So, the one who lost their life was.... *takes deep breath*: Frisk. Frisk had somehow lost her life. None of us know how or what happened, but it's sure caused many monsters in the underground to be in depression. Especially Sans..."
Undyne's voice trailed off again as UF Sans just sat at his station, in shock. Wait... she died? How? Sans shook his head in confusion and slight anger. It better not be some kind of murderer or something like that.
"It happened about 2 months ago. Sans comes out of his room sometimes, but as soon as he's done with what he had to do, he would go straight back to his room and stay there. He came for the funeral, but it wasn't for long. And you would think Frisk would just reload, but... she didn't. Her soul apparently broke and dissolved into the air..." As she was about to say another word, UF Sans pressed answer on his communicator and looked at Undyne.

"I'm here. 1. How did this happen and 2. What do u want me to do?" Undyne looked at him, her arms crossed with a suspicious eyebrow up.

"So you were there? Ok then Mr. Grumpsters."

"Don't call me that." Undyne had laughed at what he said, but something was wrong. He knew that it was a weak laugh; it was forced.

"Ok, sorry Sans. But, to your questions, I have no idea, just like I had said. I was just calling cause I think you would want to know. Just sayin'."

"Well, I care, but I don't understand what you want me to do about it."

"Well, I was thinking... could you come here try to get Sans out of his room? We are all worried as freak and Papyrus is worried sick." UF Sans was quiet for a moment, thinking this over. It's not like he had anything better to do here.

"Well, I guess. I'm not really certain but... I don't know." Undyne looked at him weirdly until she let out a deep sigh and shook her head.

"Of course you would say you wouldn't know. *sigh* alright. See you soon I guess." With that, she hung up, her hologram disappearing. Sans sighed and put his head down in his folded arms. He was still trying to process this information the best he could. He still couldn't believe this happened, nor how Undyne sounds so glumly. He understands that this could upset her, but what surprised him was that she hardly ever gets sad, even in situations like these. He shook his head and teleported to his lab, heading over to his computer. He pulled off the sheet that was covering his dimension portal. He looked at it and then towards his computer, and started typing away at it. He had to put information into the machine and get it enough energy to start running. He couldn't believe he was about to go to Undertale. But he had nothing to lose and he wanted to get away from Underfell anyway. He typed in codes, passwords, and anything else that could assist the portal in any way it could. He then heard a buzzing sound and looked to his right to see the portal up and running, a blue light emitting from it. He took a deep breath and walked towards the portal. Many questions were going in his mind as he set Undertale as the option. He then walked through the portal, about to face the dimension he hasn't seen in forever.
