"We had some difficulties on Lyonix.." I said nervously knowing anything I said about my past would affect what Sager and Leo thought about me.

Not that Leo's opinion would matter he thinks I'm 'human' and says he's from this planet called 'earth' but he does know alot 'supposedly' and if he thought I wasn't trustworthy then I might die here.

And if Sager thought I was a bad person then I could have the entire Vahlru population after me. The only thing to do is work around the truth and hope Frice is on board I thought.

"The other Lyons are murderous and we tried to escape but we got locked up and then the cell turned into a ship and we ended up on Pluto."

Frice gave me a worried look but then settled down and backed up my half truthed information.

"We were lucky that Sager and the other Vahlrues helped us here."

"Of course we still have to bring them here." I added.

"Well your welcome here but there's only a certain amount of space that most lifeforms can live in.."

He said nervously trying to be the least disappointing as possible.

I looked outside and decided to ask the puzzling question. "Vinteye is big enough, I don't see why the Vahlrues can't live here."

"Well did you see the smoky part of the planet when you were arriving?" He asked.

I hadn't seen the smoky side, I was to busy focusing on everything else.

"I saw it, I was actually starting to doubt our survival until I saw the clear part." Sager answered.

"Yeah well there are crawling creatures that feed off smoke and have dangerous toxins." He continued.

"Can't be any worse than Sofufs." Sager scoffed.

"Sofuf?" He said quizzically.

"I can't tell you how many have died on Pluto because of them." Sager said sadly.

"Well more are going to die if you send them to the smoky parts." Leo argued.

"There has to be somewhere for them. Isn't there?" I asked.

"I actually don't know. And I don't recommend looking for somewhere." He advised.

"Well maybe we could get the ancient one and a few of the others and then they can find somewhere for the others." Sager said aloud.

"Perhaps...that is a good idea. But if your going to leave you might want to have some food." He agreed.

Leo handed Frice a small bag of the sweet water plants and another type I haven't seen yet.

"Now you two be on your way." He rushed.

"What about Lazire?" Frice asked.

"I have to teach her more about Vinteye, it's best to not waste time. I wouldn't want to have to teach everyone at once and have someone confused."

Frice have me a final glance and then walked toward the ship. I watch for a few moments and the ship took off leaving me and this strange Leo guy there.

"I know who you are. You just don't remember."

"I'm a Lyon and so are you I don't get why you have to lie to make yourself more special." I argued.

"I'm not lying when we were younger we were sent into space. Did you ever wonder why you were born on the day the sun destroyed the earth."

"I don't know maybe it was a sign that I was made for destruction!"

With those words I twisted his arm causing him pain. I then walked away toward a bush with fruits on it and pulled one off.

"You know those are poisonous right? Now I wouldn't be beating up the only hope for survival. Especially when their also brother."

"Your not my brother!" I yelled and then threw the fruit at him which he caught. Which made me groan even more.

"Fine if you don't believe me you will in time. But for now you have some survival skills to learn."

He walked over to one of the creatures he called a 'vint'.

"This is squash." He introduced.

What kind of name is squash? 'Leo' is a weird name to. There was another question puzzling me.

"How can you tell the difference they all look the same?" I asked.

"Thats where your wrong" He lifted up Squash's arm and revealed a diamond pattern. " every vint has a unique pattern, Squash has a diamond pattern."

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious." I mocked.

"You know it would help if you had more appreciation."

"Well I don't so get used to it."

"As I was saying.. you can learn alot from creatures around you they are the same as you they just look different." He continued.

"Actually the Vahlrues can eat Sofufs and Lyons can't they have toxic blood and do Diors."

He gritted his teeth as a sign he was getting annoyed.

"We aren't talking about the Vahlrues."

"Actually you said creatures, not just the Vints."

He sighed and then stopped trying to be upset. "You know what I'm not perfect just try to listen to me "

He began trying to teach me things again. "Vints are not as complex as humans-"

"Lyons.."

"Whatever. Because Vints cannot speak or smell you can guess they aren't complex so they won't be immune to most things so what they do eat, is probably safe for you to eat. That's just common sense."

"So before I eat something I have to watch them eat it first? That could take forever! Especially if they don't eat it at all!" I protested.

"Well not necessarily. You can try to feed it to them. They aren't stupid so they will know not to eat something poisonous so there is one answer, the other one is kinda depressing. Some don't know not to eat some things and then they die, but that's life."

"Well thanks for today's upsetting thought."

The ground shook suddenly. I guess they're back.

I turned around and walked toward the ship. I heard mushy footsteps behind me and knew Leo was behind me.

I stood in front and the door opened.

"Welcome back." I greeted.

Sager came out and delivered something other than Vahlrues.

"The ancient one wants to speak with you, he won't tell me though. Anything you want to say?"
