Ah welcome to another lame and boring day on Lyonix home to us Lyons aka the planet of nerds. Well that's most of them. The ones here didn't make the cut.
Whenever your 20th rotation passes nobody knows what they do. But I heard that they use your blood for experiments and let you drift into space. But I doubt it. Here it's just the same thing everyday: nothing. Doesn't mean you can't make the best of it.
"Lazire! Wake up!" Frice whisper yelled at me from the ceiling breaking me from my trance.
"Oh I forgot! Today we were supposed to mess with the gravity generators!"
"Well then get down here!" She commanded.
" I'm coming down!"
I unbuckled the belt that keeps you from falling out of bed and fell face first onto the ceiling.
"You know they have ladders for a reason right?"
"You know I don't have three arms right? Come on we have a generator to break."
I got up and went over to the door frame and checked both ways. So far so good.
"All clear" I whispered.
I stepped over the door frame and slowly sneeked down the long white and silverish hallway toward the gravity generators.
"See anybody?" I asked Frice.
"Not so far." She whispered.
I started flipping a switch and instantly gravity was turned off.
"Can you warn me next time your gonna do that?"
"Ok try to get your feet back down. I'm turning it back on."
I flipped the switch on. Even if I wasn't floating to high I still hit the ceiling hard.
"What do you two think your doing!"
"Great! We're caught." I mumbled.
"Throw them in the cell for three days." The Guardian instructed guards I didn't realize were there.
"But-"
"Maybe you shouldn't be friends with miss Lazer fire she gets you in trouble."
"Speak for yourself Strice."
The guards carried us around the corner to the old prison room. One of them stayed by the door the other one pressed a button that opened the door. The one by the door pretty much threw us inside and laughed as I hit the wall.
Then some sort of keyboard came out and then a window appeared as things lit up and rearranged themselves. I saw the panicked expression on the guard's face just before the door finally shut.
"Wait Lazire what's happening! None of this stuff was here!" Frice panicked.
"I don't know! Look out the window!" I said seeing the amazing blackness of space then realizing what was going to happen.
"Lazire were in space!"
I kept staring at the the star up ahead.
"Lazire do something were heading for Crillox!"
"I don't know what button to press!" I said moving my hands over every button on the wall not knowing what to do.
"Here just let me sit there so we don't die!"
I got up but quickly fell against the door because of the way the craft started moving. I accidentally hit a button by the door and it unexpectedly opened. All the air seemed to be pouring into space and I had to hang on as best as I could to keep us both from drifting into space.
Frice was holding onto a bar on the ceiling of the ship. Both of my stupid shoes had been taken by the force that was space not that I would need them if I was going to suffocate. I summoned as much strength I could and pulled myself back into the ship and then pressed the same button to close the door.
"Are you ok?" Frice asked.
"Neither of us will be if you don't get us away from Crillox!"
We seemed to be going as fast as possible and we were only minutes or seconds away from being burned alive by one of the stars that had kept our population from freezing to death.
Frice turned towards the window and seen our soon to come death. Being the person she was she hid under the control panel and waited for it to be over. I on the other hand was not going to die just after escaping the prison I called a home.
I sat in the seat that had appeared when we left and gripped a bar with handles on the side in the middle of the controls. I seemed to have been lucky and the ship turned towards three objects: a star, Pluto, or an unidentified smoky planet.
I had to make up my mind quickly and chose pluto because it seemed the only one of the three you could breathe on.
"Frice! Get up here! Your only going to hurt yourself worse when we crash!"
"What?" Frice looked out the window and saw the planet I chose.
"Wait! Your gonna make us crash into that planet!"
"Well where else are we supposed to go?"
"No where I guess." Frice decided.
"Prepare to crash!" I yelled feeling the speed pick up due to gravity.
I looked around for something to hold on to and realized there were seats on the sides. Better than this seat they have locks.
"There are seats on the sides I think they have locks on them!"
"Good idea!"
I sat down and pulled the lock down and prepared for the crash.
The windows were then shielded by the metal that was there in the begining.
Within seconds we slammed into the planet.
I quickly pressed a button I assumed was the release button and lifted the locked buckle.
"Frice get up. We've landed."
I went over to the door and pressed another button that opened the door and pulled Frice up. You could definitely tell we crashed.
I looked around. We were surrounded by grey creatures with horns and tails.
"Do you think their friendly?" Frice asked.
