Heather ;
"Jc," I whispered walking into his room. He was sound asleep. I shook him softly. No answer. Damn, he was a heavy sleeper. I found a notepad on his nightstand and wrote a note.
I thought about it for awhile, and thanks for letting me stay even if it wasn't that long. I know it isn't safe for me, I don't want you to be responsible for me. Thank you again.
- Heather.
I signed it with a heart beside my name like I always do. I decided that I wouldn't need my suitcase since I would be traveling a lot. I grabbed a plastic bag from the kitchen food closet, and put most of my new clothes that Jenn had bought me. I quietly walked out of his house and not knowing where to go next.
I found a bus stop on the corner of the street, but I realized Sam was there. I could either head back, or face him. I sighed and it only took a few more steps for him to recognize me,"Hey, Heather." I walked up closer to him. His face was much cleaner, then the day I met him. He was wearing a black beanie, black jacket, and jeans. Typical.
"Where ya been hiding?"
"Uh..I wasn't hiding, but I was staying with family for awhile." he nodded,"Have you seen the news recently?" Shit. I didn't know what to say,"Yes." I quietly spoke,"I'm surprised your still with me, most people would be scared, run away, and call the police." he smiled showing his teeth,"Well, I'm not like most people."
"Of course your not, and how is Jc?"
"W-What are you talking about" he chuckled,"Poor innocent girl, don't act like I don't know your father who thought he could keep you a secret, isn't Jc. I've been following you, why else do you think I'm in San Francisco."why did I leave. Why did I ever wish for that stupid letter. Why was I ever born. Why me?
"Now, you'll do as I say, and nobody gets hurt. Understood?" I looked around to see if anyone was spotting us, but of course no one was out at twelve in the morning. I gulped. I had no choice,"What the fuck do you want."
"Aw, sweetheart. Giving me an attitude isn't going to make things better in your situation, and what I want is for you to give me the locations of your parents and I'll let you go."
"As if I would tell you where they are."
"Then you leave me no choice," he held out his fist, and everything went dark after that.
