I hear James screamed my name while running after me. I didn't care how much running in these heel hurt. I couldn't stop.
Suddenly, I am grabbed by the arm and spun around. "Haliey, it's not what it looked like..." James started to say. "What was it James? You kissed another girl." She screamed. I was furious, scared, and devastated. I couldn't believe him. He kissed someone. "I thought you love me." I whispered, looking towards the ground. "I do love you." He said trying to convince me. "Then why? Why would you kiss her? Why would you hurt me like that? Why would you lie to me?" I exploded. I couldn't hold back and more. All my feelings and emotions came out like a flood. "I-I" James started to tell me, again. "No. I don't want to hear it. I don't want anymore lies. You don't love me. You never did. You lied to me and I believed you, because I'm so naive. I'm just the innocent girl that is there for you to break my heart. Well guess what, James. It worked. You shattered my heart into a million pieces. I'm breaking up with you." I said. My heart did feel like it had shattered. It felt like my world was crashing down right on top of me. I was so stupid to fall for him. He's a player and a liar. He never really loved me. It was all a game. I couldn't be with him if he is just going to keep hurting me. "But..." James stammered. "I-I have to go." I said trying to hold back the tears. Even after what he did, I still love him.
I started to walk away. But this time instead being stopped , he let me go.
