When I first got off the phone I thought to myself, 'I don't think this is such a good idea.' But the closer I got to Ellie's house, the more excited I got. When the front door opened a gorgeous, short girl with sandy blonde hair, in a red and black flannel and skinny jeans, car keys in her hand with a kind of annoyed look on her face, answered. "Well I'm not going!" she screamed over her shoulder then turned back to me. "I'm sorry," she said still annoyed but now she had tear streaming down her face as she ran to the car. I looked back at her. She was sitting on the pavement next to the car crying. Even though she had tears everywhere, she was still pretty. I decided to go over and comfort her.
"Hey, don't cry. Its alright." I said while cuddling her in my arms. After she cried for a little, she said "I'm sorry." "You have nothing to be sorry for. I get it. Families are really tough some times." I said to her. "Oh by the way, I'm Hailey. My sister is the one who won your contest." the girl said still in my arms. "You were the one who answered the phone when I first called about the contest?" I said, recognizing her voice now. "Yea." Hailey said, kind of happy. Now that she had stopped crying, I wiped her tears away and she smiled at this. She had fantastic smile. It felt like her smile lit up the world. "So wanna go inside?" I asked questioning. "Sure," she said sighing while standing up. "Let's go." And as Hailey started walking to the front door thats when I realized that I liked her.
